You find that Liston Pharmaceutical is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sampson Industries. Its PR blurbs indicate that the company is on the cutting edge of pharmacological research and specializes in the area of finding a cure for the medical ills that afflict the people of the world today and into the future. A map shows that they have labs and research facilities in several locations in the world, to include sub-Saharan Africa, Indonesia, Japan, and the Middle East. The map advertises that a new facility, perhaps their largest yet, is planned for Colombia.
The mercenary group you are looking at is relatively small stuff. Or was until recently. It was formed out of some Balkan separatists that lost their wars but not the will to fight. They banded together and offered their services to anyone who would pay their rates. They have been involved in several dirty military actions, but usually something that fit their size. About a year ago, they began advertising for disaffected men and women with good military skills to apply for position in their organization, showing a budget for advertising that was considerably out of their norm. The advertising seems to have worked as their numbers have swelled. They do not seem to be too picky in who they hire on.
