A work in progress on an Ogre Technomancer- or more correctly a dissonance technomancer.
He will be using Machine sprites to assist himself/teammates shooting/social/ sneaking/piloting etc. But mostly he will be using the Gremlings power (as I think thats more in line with being corrupted with dissonance).
He doesn't know he has been infected- instead he is convinced that just about every grid is contaminated in some way and that every HOST is an evil nightmarish place- where the dark powers have hidden their malignant codes behind thinly veiled digital illusions. Whenever he is in a host he gets a strong urge to break those veils down and show the world its true colors. ( he starts to randomly corrupt the files "back to their true nature").
Any suggestions on sprite usage and maybe some cool complex forms? I think making him into a digital voracious Ogre would be cool, like the ability to munge on files etc.
Suggestions on weapons/gear would be welcome too. Preferable gear with a wireless dice pool bonus for the Diagnostic power.
I like the 3 submerging dissonance powers from data trail- but feel the first one: Corrupt. Is a rather strong one, and likely made for NPCs in mind, any idea of how to tone it down and still be cool and flavorful?
I suspect Dissonance sprites might be available in a future technomancer book, but any suggestions on usage of current sprites into make them feel more like Dissonance ones?
