I am looking for some gear that will provide some good RPing for my PC, can you help?
My PC, basic idea is constructed person with perfect memory (bio+gene enhancements) rescued from organ grower and submitted to NAN testing to become NAN citizen, served in military. (used life path system for PC gen and Hero Lab for PC creation)

So so far I have a bunch of Urban Combat Axes (under trowing weapons) that I postulated were awards for various service assignments (ie list start date location for duty (non secret missions) and for secret missions list just some name, word etc that defines the mission but does not give away anything. So each combat ax is sort of like a unit award or a memento for service. And some basic RP fun (but I have to still pay for)

I also thought of placing a personality in my Primary med kit of each level (rank-6 and rank 3 at starting) for some GM RP moments and interaction. But since I did not have time to finish my PC on hero lab so I have not do so yet.

So is there any other fun RP equipment out there?
Thanks

Note: I have been having some net trouble after switching providers so if I do not answer right away it is because for some mystical reason I cannot get to the SR Forums.

First, I'd point out that for your character to have come from an organ growing facility, that facility would have been secretly doing something else, as "wimps", the human bodies grown for organ replacements, are essentially lobotomized and will not and cannot function as characters of any type.  It just means your character musta been part of some "Well, why don't we try making super soldiers or something" secret operation.

Any kind of drones you may have are great for RP as they can be "pseudo-characters".  They aren't smart enough to be NPCs, but they can have quirks and such.

Really, all kinds of augmentation can be good bits of RP as well.  This may not fit your character, but let me explain with a character I made.  I had a hacker named Grenadine who was a transhumanist--  She believes augmentation was basically the next step of human evolution, just the natural course of things.  She had two cybernetic arms, and there was a lot of characterization in what they were augmented with, how she took care of them, and where she bought them.  Since in Shadowrun, as with any modern setting, everything is a brand.

This can apply to basically any piece of gear, too.  There's a big difference in roleplay between "My character has cyberarms and cyberlegs with high AGI and Gymnastics Optimization" and "My character's limbs are all sleek, black models from Saeder-Krupp's Akrobat line, known for their incredible flexibility and durability."

Jeeze.  It would almost sound stupid until you realize we're talking about an immortal elf clown sword fighting a dragon ghost in a mall.

Thanks for the basic info,
I picked  bag-o-organs from the life path system so maybe my wording was not correct.

I agree that fleshing out what "brand" of stuff a PC has is big in SR vs other games and I will look into that for my PC.
Thanks

Another thing is your character's online presence.  Even non-hackers still have a commlink, which means they have a persona.  What does your persona look like?  Is it custom?  Is it factory default?  Or is it something your character downloaded?

Your persona, by the way, is essentially a 3D model that is what's visible to others on the matrix.  If you entered a matrix chatroom, for instance, others would see your persona moving, interacting, and speaking.

A passing thought of "What's on your character's commlink?" is also good for RP even if it won't come up.  How much music?  What kind of games?  Any pictures?  Movies?

You can also make a big point by customizing your home and lifestyle, either with simple fluff or with some of the options from Run Faster. While you can spend your free time between runs in your nondescript middle class flat, it is a totally different deal to have a workshop where you can maintain your equipment, a living room full of Neil the Orc Barbarian mechandise or a garage you can use as a makeshift situation room for the group if need be. This also applies to your (non-armor) clothing, since every character has some kind of unique style. Do you wear cheap sweatshirts and jeans or flashy suits and ties in your normal life?
What many people oversee is software. Have a few sets of data, map and shop soft around. Your character lived in Denver for a few years? Then he probably still has a streetmap on your commlink. You need new ballistic vests every other week? Then you could invest in an armor shop soft to help you find new ones more easily.
