@Wheely - You will need hack on the fly to place a mark on the server and then edit file to edit/alter the file. (if you know how to, you may also check for data bombs).

@Jack there is nobody physically in the lab as you might have guessed by its unpleasant location. What you are expected to see is a drone that acts like a surgeon that is remotely operated. At the waiting room there are no sensors at all - perhaps to keep confidentiality of the people that come to the clinc. The hologram triggered by a small proximity sensor and is completely non interactive.

Well you can always use edge to ignore a limit (like not having attack (if you have any left))

There is a chance that the file is protected but you will not know that before you mark the data server.
The actions are:
1. Mark.
2. browse the files to select what file to target.
3. If there is a data bomb disarm it (or take some nasty damage) (need firewall)
4. If there are protections  crack the file (need attack)
5. Edit the file to copy it to your own device.

so whether or not you need an attack depends on the file, the information can indeed help you.


@Kynos You will get a reply after about 20-30 minutes. You guys need to decide if you are patient enough to wait, or you go into decontamination or leave. (of course your characters do not know that there will be an answer). The time that pass is how long it take before a human goes in and check on you. I'll leave that to you to decide.

I think my question was missed in the slog of posts.  What time is it for Nyx and Simone?  Gem has to be at the farm by 1700, right?  I am just looking to see what sort of time crunch we might be on.

@Mercy the meet was at 12:00 so around 13:00 - 13:30 17:00 ish, nobody expects her to be punctual (she plays a drug addict dealer) but she thinks it is a good time as the smugglers will leave at dusk to do their thing and these that will not leave will happily slot themselves, so she has control over the time they are out. If she arrives at 19:00 someone might surprise them by returning from job. So all in all,  Gem feels that 17:00 is the most manageable hour. You need about an hour to get to the farm.
