Could/Should the bio-wear Tremor Reducer from Chrome Flesh provide a situation bonus to other skills besides sniping?
I was thinking that reducing the tremors in your body could help in other areas such as, drawing, painting, surgery, and in general any area in which having a very steady hand would benefit you.

I think so, but perhaps you could apply a small penalty similarly to substituting skills (page 130, CRB)?

At the very least, I'd let it offset the penalty twitchy characters get to avoiding motion sensors (p. 365, SR5).  If players remind me they have a piece of gear that seems applicable, I'll generally toss them an extra die or two.

Thanks for the feedback,
I understand that often in SR skills, abilities, bio, cyber are more designed for combat focus but I also like to look for other more normal things/areas in which said items can apply or work.
I also think the various companies would also look for ways to broaden the market for there goods.

Iīd always take a look at the fluff text, the tremor reducer seems to be a primarily medical implant.
One could for example argue that a character got one because his parents couldnīt stand his restless leg syndrome any longer, so they threw money at the problem  ;D
