Noëmie snorts "You know who I represent." She pauses, then amends "Alright, not who exactly, but you understand what I mean. What do you think it could do to you to be in her good graces?" After a few seconds, she adds "Or... Well... To avoid being in the bad ones I suppose..."

As Maxwell floats upwards, he regains a more impressive standing and stance.  Several meters in the air by now and out of reach of the writhing burnt zombie.  He looks down upon the zombie and in a booming voice yells.  "Feeble undead!  Did you think you could match the glories that are my spells?  Did you think you could overpower the might that are my spirits?  Woeful revenants, a can of worms is more scary than you."  Averting his gaze from the revenant and to the fire elemental instead, Maxwell reassures the spirit.  "Incinerate this intrepid corpse and you need not worry about the rest.  You will be relinquished from my service once you do so."  Turning around, the mage flies on back to where he came from and lets the elemental decide for itself which service it would rather perform.

Noëmie shrugs "Of course there are. But you miss my point. After all, no one but my Mistress and I need to know you're the one who told us anything, you'd have nothing to fear, be it from "lesser" or "greater" beings. However, it could help to have someone like her owe you one, don't you think?"

@Maxwell As you fly home you cannot but notice a small army of drones following you. From armed rotor drones, to horizon flying eyes and other kind of drones. You have clearly gained the interest of whomever is operating these drones. And by the quantity of them it may be more than a single entity.

"Where the hell were these guys like two minutes ago?  Well I can't bring them home with me."  Stopping mid-air to turn around.  Maxwell halts the small army of drones from following him to the Brain Eaters.  With open arms in a mock gesture of welcoming, he introduces himself to them all.  "Greetings.  What can I, Sovereign, do for you?  Or are you just here to play hide and seek?"

@Maxwell - the drones do not response, they are always on the air you have learned to ignore them but right now they are looking for you.  Some of them at least, and they are not communicating just observing for now.

Noëmie finally seems to have reached her limits. She growls "Respect? You are talking about respect?" Her eyes take an orange tint, with a slit pupil. "I do not care that you are used to deal with vampires. I. Am. Not. One." Around her eyes first, then on her cheeks, the top of her neck and her hands next, small light copper scales appear. "I asked nicely, and you pretend to deny me?" She seems somehow to become larger, taller.

Now in their minds, both Todd and Lary can hear the rest. "You will answer my questions. You will give me what I want, and I may leave you intact, with a reasonable agreement to send your bosses and the capability to pretend nothing happened here. Deny me, and I'll gut you. I'll rip you to shreds, here and now." Now, horns grow on her forehead, the kind that could really gut someone...

As Nyx, is pulling a dragon on Larry Todd dashes into the room swinging his stun baton. His reflexes are extremely fast and he is very skilled with his weapon of choice. Nyx can barely finish her sentence before she tries to dodge the glowing electrical baton. He acts automatically before he can even think about it, like a trained soldier.

forgot to give him +2 dice for reach, nevermind he reached the weapon's accuracy anyhow.

Defense roll is reaction + intuition, Todd wins on tie due to touch only weapon.
You can roll initiative, but since Larry is intimidated and magically manipulated - he will tell Todd to back down and Todd will obey.


Almost simultaneously, Larry cries "Back off Todd, I will tell her what she wants to hear - or she will burn us all. It is hopeless to resist." Reluctantly Todd backs down, but he looks suspicious at Nyx, clearly not impressed with her Dragon show.  His stun baton is ready to strike her, if Larry allows it.

Larry continues and says Look Nyx, I do not know much about other farms, but I know that there should be another one like us in Saint Lewis, as we share some security measures with them, and this one time they sent us replacement equipment when we had troubles and it arrived in under an hour so it could not have been stored very far.

Do you still want to buy pixies? they are quite expensive I must warn you and I do not have much flexibility about the price, it is 10k a unit.

Larry looks like a broken man, his eyes are wet, and he clearly struggles not to cry, he can barely look at Nyx.

Noëmie steps away from Todd, but not fast enough to avoid being hit. She doesn't seem to take the hit too hard though, and slowly turns her head towards Todd, unblinking. After a couple of seconds, as if thinking him to be unworthy of her notice, she looks back at Larry. Pausing again, she ends up nodding, gradually taking back her normal appearance, and when she answers, it's with a mostly normal voice.

"I do. Can you have five ready in a week? Give me an account number, and I'll have 10% of the fee transferred to you. As soon as I get back to my 'link and authorise the transfer anyway."

Todd looked at Nyx, ready to dodge or budge he seems to enjoy the thrill as there was a smile on his face. He was almost disappointed when she chose to ignore him and get back to business, or that his baton did not cause much damage.


Larry said "Five in a week will be difficult without prior notice. I can suppl you with two tomorrow and another two next week, this is the best I can do at such a short notice, we usually grow them on demand, as they do not have much of a shelf life."

Noëmie frowns, considering the offer. After a couple of seconds, she seems to reach a decision "I do not need two tomorrow. Four next week will be fine."

@Nyx Larry says "Fine, next week but I need you to pay in advance -  40,000 nuyen. you may intimidate me, but nobody messes with accounting" he says and tries to smile.

Once the negotiations are concluded, Todd escorts Nyx out of the building offering her the eye cover again as if nothing has happened.
