He was lost in transient thought scanning the matrix for a suitable place to spend the day when heard someone behind him.  Whipping around slightly started and jumpy.  As he was not expecting someone or anyone for that matter to sneak up on him.  To Maxwell's luck he sees yet another woman.  A French girl by the sound of her accent.  One with a solution to his current needs.  An appreciative metallic voice greets her back.  "I'd love to.  The Gates feels too constricted anyway.  Not really my style."

Kynos nodded: "Alright, now if I understand this correctly you'd want a direct connection so you can get easier into the host - right? Or are you up to hacking it from right here? Tell me what you need and I'll try to make it happen."

"Getting a direct connection with the RCC could certainly make things easier for me, but we need to be sneaky because even if the host consider that I'm allowed to be there since I'm connected from the RCC it will be useless if they raise the alarm."

Simone laughs.  "I promise not to constrict you too much.  The sleeping area is actually rather nice, at least in my opinion, so I hope you like it."  She holds up a small sack.  There is plenty of food and other refreshment in the van, but nothing like what they fix here, so I brought some snacks for later.  Follow me."

The French woman leads the mage to an extended-bed van that has clearly had some exterior modifications to its armor.  She presses some buttons on the security system and opens the door, ushering her guest inside, where he can see that there have been some significant modifications to the interior as well.  "All the comforts of home, oui?  This console controls the sleeping area so feel free to experiment a bit to get everything just right.  Not sure if you sleep in the nude, but it will not bother me if you do.  I am planning on doing some work while you sleep.  I promised a client some custom work on a cyber arm and it is not getting done by itself, non?  Food is there, and extra blankets over in that bin if you need them, although the area is climate controlled to taste and I doubt that you will need the blankets.  Questions?"

we could send a small drone in to get some intel like layout and security before we make a decision.

"Sounds reasonable. Look especially for vulnerable universal data ports in unobserved places."

"Ok, I guess it's time for Lola to get out for a walk. I'm going VR and will keep you in touch, I trust you to watch over the meat."

Wheely body goes limp as he switch into VR and take control of the Renraku Gerbil. On a mental command the Trunk of the car open just enough for the Gerbil to get out.

Heading to the "Luna Security" business, using the occasional passersby to remain unseen, Wheely drives the drone trying to find a sneaky way to get in and find a bit more about the layout of the place.

Luna security is on the second and less busy floor of the building, people are not exceptionally alert but it is a security company with metal detectors, cameras security drones and a single armed guard at the entrance. Wheely has to wait hidden until someone open the door and then attempt to sneak unnoticed inside.  Another option is to try and get through one of the open windows on the outside, but that would require some way to get the drone to the window undetected.


I hope that is enough, feel free to add details about the building as you see fit, I trust you.
I'll need some stealth roll anyhow, the window is easier but you need to get the drone there unnoticed that may require more rolls depending on how you do it.

Being led inside the van of a stranger had all of the makings of a bad joke.  This particular case was an exception though, to Maxwell at least.  A good thing Simone wasn't the stereotypical creepy old guy you see on the trids.  The kind who lures vulnerable individuals into their own sick perverted traps.  The mage would have turned down the offer in a heartbeat if that were the case.  More than likely with violence too.  Snapping out of his paranoia-filled daydream, Maxwell follows the woman inside the van.  Cautiously so that he doesn't make a clumsy mess of himself.

She was right.  The van does have nice place to sleep.  Actually, to be more precise, the van has a nice everything!  All of the amenities of a high class hotel without the needless tedium of snobby staff members.  He takes a few more steps inside until he was at the edge of the bed.  Looking over at Simone he shakes his head no.  Maxwell begins to undress into his unarmored street clothing.  Starting by removing his forearm guards and mask, revealing grinning content.  Before he finishes undressing, Maxwell says.  "I'm good.  You really do know how to make a devil feel welcomed.  I'll need to return the favor somewhere down the road."

Want me to go pose as a potential client?  See if I can get a little looksee?  I can be in charge of security of a start up and have heard good things, particularly their discretion.

Simone smiles at the mage.  "I am glad you like it.  This is my home and I tried to get it just right, but am still doing some tinkering.  It could use some machine guns and rocket launchers to spruce up the place.  Anyway, like I said, I will be over here at the bench, working on this arm.  I will try to be quiet.  Oh, that door there leads to the bathroom and shower.  It was a tight fit to get both in there, so be careful if you need to use the shower as you could bump your head on some of the plumbing.  There is a fifteen minute reservoir of hot water that takes about a half an hour to heat up again.  I am not planning on using any for a bit, so help yourself if you want a shower.  There are some towels just over there in a bin under that chair.  You can return the favor any time.  I hope that my work light does not keep you awake." 

With that, Simone turns away to give her guest some privacy and walks to her work bench, flipping open the various compartments of tools and supplies she needs access to for the job at hand.  She slips a pair of goggles on and gets to work, half hoping that the man will want to talk a bit more, but used to people not wanting to talk to her.  She snickers quietly to herself; it is not unusual to have people walk off and leave her and she is used to it by now.  Still........she had hoped that maybe she would fit in a bit better this time.

<<Getting in with the Drone is tricky, the main entrance has metal detectors. There are windows but even for a small drone I don't see how to get it there unnoticed.

Your idea might be the right one Irris, since it's a business front there are clients going in and out, if you walk through at the same time of my drone the metal detector will go off and you can pretend it's your chrome.>>


Assuming we are sticking with that plan here is the first Sneaking test to get through the entrance and the metal detector while Irris draw the attention.

The drone remains sneaky and as Irris blips in the metal detector the drones can make it inside the office. Now the challenge remains, there is a male secretary in the the front office,  and the door to the back office where the action is done is closed (and armored) you'll need it to open somehow.

Wheely checks around in the Matrix to see if he could access the door control. Surely this building isn't linked to the farm.
