Simone brings the oversize van to a halt and slips into the rear to cover the mage's body with a blanket then grabs a medkit from inside a cupboard before leaving by the rear door.  >>Team [Simone]:  Does anyone need help?<<

<<@Simone: Only the rigger. As soon as the spirit is done we'll be pulling the plug. We'll have to relocate before we wake him up, but since you are here now, you can prepare a stim patch or something.

Kynos nodded at the team, reloaded his rifle and went back into the car to see how the spirit was doing.

Simone walks quickly to the car that Kynos has gone to and looks at the passenger.  She kneels to open her kit and pulls out a stim patch. Standing, she says,  "Got the patch ready.  Will he be fine here or do you want to move him to my van?"

A staunch odor of grave soil and desiccated flesh permeated the van.  Even through his astral form, Maxwell could smell his spirit's presence.  The creature placed a gnarled bony hand on the rigger's head and began infusing the man with restorative magic.

I took off 2 DP because I think the rigger has about 4 Essence.  If he has less than that then feel free to modify my roll.
That will heal 8 Physical Boxes.  Maybe less depending on his essence.

Profoundly proficient Nekros is at reconstructing the rigger's body.  The cyberware within the man was hardly an obstacle for the spirit.  Removing it's hand from the rigger's head, Nekros slowly turned around and spoke in a awful voice that no human could ever produce.  "It is done."  Just like that the spirit vanished into thin air.  Back home to it's native metaplane.  Kynos and Simone were standing by, watching Maxwell direct his spirit.  The mage happily waves them over and says.  "Ah, there we go, all healed up.  I'm curious to see what is so important about what he knows that would warrant rousing me.  It'd be really funny if he knows nothing at all, wouldn't it?

Simone nods and grins at the manifestation of Sovereign.  "Thank you, scary mage.  It looks like your servant has done well."

She leans into the car and looks at the health unit's readouts before turning to Kynos. "He is safe here, but the I have a similar unit in the van that would allow me to monitor him without having to squeeze into a cramped car.  Do you want to move him or just leave him here for now?" She looks around at the drone pieces scattered about on the pavement. "In light of what has happened here, we might want to leave him in the car until we get to a safer place.  ANy ideas?"

Wheely stands still for a couple of seconds after the ghastly spirit disappear, shaking himself he mumble "Damn it, he should warn before summoning things like that, I hope this stench won't stick to the seats".

Looking at the biomonitor he notices that the Rigger vitals have well stabilized, without waiting an other seconds he pull the plug and jack out the rigger. The biomonitor start beeping again as the man (woman?) convulse in the seat under the dumpshock but both man and vitals get stable again.

"Ok everyone, looks like our new pal is safe and sound, I propose that we get the hell out of here before we get more drones, or worst. Let's drive around a bit and why not ask Casa if he has an other safehouse for a quick interrogation?"

Saying that he gets back to the driver seat and is about to go jump in but turn to Kynos, Irris, and Ayato "We aren't out of the hook yet so it would probably be better if one of you go in the van since I have one less seat, just in case it gets rough. And before I forget I have a gun port at the passenger seat."

Should we tell Casa about this new update?  It looks like the vamps are making a move on the chicken ranch.

"Right on", Kynos replied. "I'll ride shotgun. We could fall back to the Red Hot Nukes territory. They have drones of their own up and I'm sure they will take care of any foreign ones.

Informing Casa certainly isn't a bad idea.

If we ride in convoy we should be relatively save. And then I really want to find out what the Rigger knows."

Simone nods and realizes that her question has been answered indirectly.  She walks over to her van and climbs inside, waiting for whoever joins her and then following Wheely to wherever they are directed.

I grab my things and hop into the van.

"Brain Eaters are the ones with the drones, not Nukes.  Not that it matters much to me where we go."  Corrected Maxwell.  Unmanifesting himself he flies back to his body.  Rejoining Simone in her van.  His stomach aching from Drain as he got up from bed.  Or maybe pangs of hunger?  Either way, he should really shower first above anything else.  The mage smelled heavily of sex and sweat.  Simone's love could still be tasted on his mouth as well.  Going into the bathroom, Maxwell enters the small shower and proceeds to bathe himself for as long as there was hot water to spare.

Simone nods as Irris comes over to the van with her and is glad to see that Sovereign has gone into the shower already so she does not have to explain a naked man in her bed.  Not that she really needs to explain anything to anyone, but it......................frag, it does not matter who knows.  She had a great time with the scary mage and hopes to repeat it soon and there is not reason to be embarrassed by any of that.  She motions to a storage bin.  "You can put your things there.  Sorry about the state of the sleeping area.  I will make the bed and stow it away when we get to where we are going." 

After Irris gets her things situated, Simone puts the vehicle into gear and follows Wheely.

I sniff the air a bit as I get situated.  Your ride reeks of sex.  Let's keep the windows down shall we?

I catch Nicole's glance out of the corner of my eye and give her a wink.

"Yes it does, and I am quite grateful that it does.  It actually happens so infrequently that I am amazed that it happened at all.  I guess I am still a bit surprised."
