Waywalker's friend replied rather quickly : Sure thing buddy, I have only one mule, but it's biffed up, so it should do. I'll send it right away to your van..."
As Waywalker finishes to assemble the sensor array, an Ares mule suddenly goes out of the old restaurant garage door. Walking the street as it belonged there, the massive drone arrives to the van in a matter of minute. Rex still recovering from his astral journey, as to clear the back of the van to let the huge drone get in. Once the mage dog form securely fasten next to Waywalker driver seat, the van starts indeed moving randomly inside the city, while the Fly Spy, rushed toward the SOX wall for a little reckon.
In the meantime, the rigger also browses the Matrix to try to learn more about AI and how they work. Gosh, it is a huge topic, and very few "sure things" are in fact known about them. However, Waywalker manages to learn some hard facts, the first being that the more complex the AI is the most powerfull the device has to be to allow to run it. Also, some AI are designed to fit in some devices, so most likely Racer would not leaving a VTOL for a anthropomorphic drone. At least, this is his gut feeling.
Also, AI are very different nature, but it sounds that Racer fell into the less easy to interact with as (meta)human being: Xenosapient. This means the AI has a completly alien understanding of the physical world. It certainly explains how easy it was to get it to agreed to hand over the engine, but it may means trouble down the road...
@Haywire I hope this is enough information on AI, let me know if you need more...
As the van is purposely going nowhere, Waywalkir spots an echo clearly following them on his sensor. Above the van, roughly 300 meter in the sky, a rotordrone seems to be following, quite discreetly, where the van is going...
