Hello guys.

I have this character in a long campaign of mine that is a ex-ganger (his gang was destroied and he is the last one of then) that became a shadowrunner to gather the means (money and contacts) to investigate his uncle's assassination.

The campaign so far have net a good 310 Karma and that idea have come into my mind lately = Turn him into a vigilant, like a Batman, only without the limitless amount of money Batman have.

I take turns as a GM at this campaign (I started it) and I have asked the other GM about it. He finds it a cool idea but he have concerns about the other players and the functionability of the entire idea.

Because of that I have come here to ask for opinions on how to make that transition without any bumps or if its even possible to create such "hero".

Attached is the character current character sheet

Any input is welcome

Okay, it is possible to make a vigilante from this character.

The thing that scares me is the number of sustained spells your character uses.
It would be impossible to hide that much mana use in the astral.

Gear wise, you should get something to record audio.
It would provide more evidence to LEOs to make a case.
Of course, you don't need to leave people alive to be arrested.

Skill wise, I would suggest Sneaking, Disguise, and Gymnastics (parkour).
Yes, you have spells to cover those, but sometimes you NEED to hide from astral pursuers.

Lastly, unless you leave the Yaks alone, you have 2 contacts that could turn into enemies with intel on you.

Would of helped if you said it was 4th edition in your title.

Thanks for the input. I forgot to mention that it was a 4e campaign. Sorry.

The sustained spells are the ones that I have "quickened" using my metamagic to increase the character effectiveness.

I agree that I need something to hide my astral signature if I intent to keep using it and my possible focus in the future would be to get more levels of initiation and get the right metamagic for that.

As for the contacts I must talk to the other GM. The yak prostitute have a story of her own and she and Longrun are "married" (sort of). He got her out of that life, paying her father debts (the cause for her to become a prostitute for the yaks) and moving her to his house (he have one). I should have removed her as a contact already from the sheet. LOL

The Yak Oyabun is the real problem. He sees Longrun as a "protegee" of sorts because Longrun have made the right speach and missions for him... Long story short Longrun is like in the middle of a war between that Oyabun and a ARES exec in the pursuit of long lost magical artifacts... quite messy right? XDDDD
