2016 was a year of violence of death. 12 months of celebrities dying off, war killing untold thousands (perhaps over a million, we may never know), sadness, heartbreak, financial upheaval, tech advances in space operations (.. as well as... electronics, vr, ar, direct neural interface, and recycling tech), children were born, deals were made, elections happened, and the world kept on spinning.
As you,dear reader, are a survivor of this particular run we know today as "2016" ... I think you earned a bit for getting through this mess. While we traditionally award a single karma point for surviving, this year has been particularly long and harrowing, so I propose a 16 point karma award for all players (who may assign such karma to which ever character(s) they may chose) as a reward for getting through.
Lets start 2017 with points to spend, goals to attain, and games to play.
