I've always pictured the advanced lifestyle option of hard to find as being physical that is you go down this twisty one way alley, turn right into another one way alley, turn into that little tunnel in the apartment block and my house is the right hand one into that culdesac. However I recently purchased a new apartment and I've discovered in today's (and presumably shadowruns) world hard to find can be purely electronic. My apartment building is big, shiny, has the name and number in large letters on the front and faces a major street yet because the eletronic address is fouled up in the databases its hard for people to find because they rely on computer systems and GPS's. The electricity company had to come out twice to find it and today I got my internet line connected (that is the line not the internet provider) and according to the installer his system was directing him to . . .

LIFT ONE
XX to XX (Not the right address) Y Street.

So he thought until he got here and called me he was installing the NBN box in a lift. I find that rather amusing, well ok annoying for my connections but the concept is amusing that you can have a big, obvious building on an easy to reach street that is hard to find because the databases either deny it exists, send you to the wrong address or claim its something its not.

"Where do you live?"
"Oh I have a nice two bedroom, one bathroom, one carpark lift with a balcony."
" :o"
