Jack's expression to their reaction on Heretic's sudden change of heart was cool as usual. Sometimes people forget that this is the kid that watched more stuff from the shadows than most of them did in first person...

Dizzy turns on her heels like a whip.  "Stuff your apology, Rafa.  You said something stupid.  You made a mistake.  How you gonna make it up to me, hunh?" A smile cracks her lips and she raises an eyebrow.  "Buy me a churro, eh?"
She laughs as she turns away.  "It's just a power play, amigo.  You gotta let people know where they sand, or they'll walk all over you, thinking nothing of it." She pauses and cocks her head to the side. "Besides, you wouldn't want something I do coming back on you, eh?"

"I know this great Taco stand on 8th street!" he shouted after her with a grin on his face.

"So, lots of time to kill before that meeting, whatever the hell that's supposed to be about. I'll probably go there a bit sooner to check the place out, wouldn't be the first time other groups show up there. You guys up to something? Watching all that partying by yourself, would be a lot more fun joining, no?"
Rafa was just looking for an excuse to stop being 'responsible' and just have some fun... just had to make sure he wasn't too drunk, or had sobered up a bit, by midnight.

Ill open the van and sen my 2 Spies to the air. directing them to the towers.
After that Im just sitting im my steed at the side of the van, face against the sun, waiting until the rest of the group will come out of the Dogpound.
When that happens, I`ll look at them with the question in the eyes.
Did he said at least something usefull? No. I thought that.
Normaly Ill get back to that backyard and spent a rest of the afternoon sunbathing, and finishing those fireworks, but semothing interrests me on Pablo "invitation". Maybe it is time to have some excitement.

So what are you going to do now? Id love to know more about this meeting...at least the reason and topic. Herretic, you said youve met Don before? Maybe he knows something...Jack. Couldn`t you dig something out?

The party on the streets is full out and brimming with party-goers of every stripe. You can see the hardened types swaggering about, their eyes scanning the area hoping to not become someone elses prey, the locals most hispanic but all far from well off, and then mixed in is the wanna-be's who swagger about in tough designs without scuffs or scratches or the tell-tale signs of acid rain. They mix about as various gangs ride by in custom bikes and colorful customized cars in a sort of parade.

Further in from the main byways, the Tower looms in the shadows most of the residents lucky to have a roof and walls let alone illegal taps for electricity. There are flame filled barrels about the street here and leading into the depths of the parking garage. Between the nice cars, bikes and SUV's, patrol a score of heavily armed men and dog handlers holding back their vicious charges, they could possibly even be Pablos. The enterance to the garage is more heavily patrolled with a dozen standing post there. They try to look hard, and for their large size and tattoo's, they do to most......but, you arent most are you?

Jack strolls along peacefully, smiling to the toughs who mostly smile back, and chat with him for a while. He knows most of them, and they know him - as the guy who saved one of the top bosses, and as the kid who always watched their back and never failed to do so. And he's just so harmless, did you even seen him angry... He wouldn't scare a puppy even if he gets mad. Though he never does. And people just like him...
Jack sits back by the entrance, joking and chatting with the guards, who're not so cordial, but they still do acknowledge him. He told them he's waiting for the rest of his acquaintances, and they accepted it after hearing their names. Though their eyebrows rose after hearing them, and Pablo telling them to come to the meet. Looks like they noticed this is a big one, and their attitude hardened a bit.
Jack smiled to the guards as he spoke - openly - to the others through the network. "I'm at the doors, the guys guarding don't mind me waiting for you."

From atop the The Tower, perched on a corner of the roof, blending in with the darkness, Rafa looked down on the events going on at street level.
Heavily armed men, vicious dogs, biker gangs... everything clear. He'd seen nothing really suspicious the past hour and a half.
Not that he could've seen everything he realized. No matter how high you got, there were always dark alleyways blocked from sight and most buildings in the neighborhood had more ways to enter than the entrance(s). Shattered windows, busted doors... even the walls usually weren't that hard to break down, if they weren't already.
He zoomed in on Jack's movements when he arrived and watched him sitting there, smiling and chatting happily, showing no notice to the indifferent and glum looks of the guards. For the so manieth time Rafa wondered to himself how the guy managed to do that... did he have that great acting talent and social skills, or did he have so little that he honestly didn't realize the situation he was in and how much he didn't seem to belong, that sort of innocence and harmlessness usually only found in 6-year-olds, mental retards or puppies. Maybe a combination of both...

I see you Jack. Where you at Heretic? I'll be down in a minute.

Ive been watching the area around the Towers all afternoon wth my flyspies parked on the structrue. I saw bikers, cars, a lot of people, all of them attending to underground garrageReading the signatures and tags, I was trying to realize who is who on that meeting, and it seems half a Seattle crimescene is pressent. Meanwhile, Ive finished some nonlethal (well, almost) fireworks for treet kids and gave the box to local little friends, to have a fun and maybe to make some bussines from it. I know that this favour will return somehow, and I felt in the right mood for the gifts.
When the time comes, I load my van as usual and head to the meeting point. When I arrived at the place, Jack was waiting at the entrance, usualy in the talkative mood, not concerned about the guards ar whatsoever, obviously having a good time.
WhistleHoi chummer. Wanna take a ride for the rest of the way? Ive got some place left in here! Ive been watching this place all afternoon and it seems like some pretty serious AAA summit in here. Hope that corpses dont hit this place.

"Round the corner."

He pulled out both... Are those Ares Pred IVs? They're way too big... from his arms and checked them over.
"Fully loaded too, just in case. Meet you at the door then Jack, Rafa."

He holstered them and walked over, looking around intently.

As the sun started to dip, Dizzy had ditched the party early to head back to her mothers old pad in the north east.  There were still a lot of things to pull through.  Her brother Esteban had stayed here, taking care of their mother, Gloria, for decades, even after Dizzy moved in with Hector and all the time she was in lockup.  If no one was talking about Hector, maybe these walls would tell her of her brother.  She didn't have time to search too long before the meeting was supposed to start.  For a moment, she contemplated not going.  After all, she had retired from an active role in the gang so long ago.  Though, since then, she hadn't exactly been on the straight and narrow path.  This was neighborhood business.  It was criminal business.  It was her business.  Dizzy left for the lot, loaded for trouble with her SMG hung under her longcoat, her machine pistol tucked into the small of her back, and her Colt, disassembled and hung about her as jewelry.  The left side of her coat hid a good number of clips, filled with ammo and ready to go.  The colt's clips she kept separate on her ankle, under the cuff of her old army surplus pants.  This night had the potential to get very exciting.

By the time she arrived, she was cursing her habit of taking autocabs.  She had forgotten how long it takes to hoof it somewhere and arrived a little late.  She tried to slip in unnoticed.  Preferably behind Pablo.

Rafa descended to near street level on the other side of the building, jumped on the roof of another one, walked to the street on the other side of it and landed on the sidewalk next to his Yamaha. Even though hadn't had the bike for very long, he'd grown to like his new toy -well, new to people who considered fourth-hand vehicles new anyway. He jumped on it, started it and after a couple of hundred meters and two left turns, arrived at the entrance to the underground parking.

His clothes had assumed the gang colors and his tattoos were back in full color and motion; dragons, giant feathered snakes and dancing naked women. Rafa's rifle hung slung over his right shoulder. He'd put on his best outfit, a set of hardliner gloves with golden feathered snakes over the knuckles. The fingers and palms were cut open, leaving leather straps around his wrist and each of his fingers to keep the patch of leather fixed over his knuckles and the back of his hands. He and the gloves had earned their reputation in this neighborhood.

He stopped next to his friends standing there, leaned on his left foot and nodded to each of them. "'bout time we go in, no? Dizzy show up yet?"
He held up a grease stained paper bag and showed its contents. Colombian style churro, ring shaped, dipped in chocolate, sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. He grinned, fished one out and swallowed it whole. "Anyone want some?"

Rafa ignored the 'guards' completely. Muscle with heavy weapons, hardly skilled, just standing there looking tough. Not worth wasting time on.

The Guards mostly looking tough have no reason to challenge a Carnale, so besides a bit of gruff bravado, they have nothing to say and less inclination to stop you. The paking garage spirals down another two floors, the way lit by a few working lights that flicker on and off regularly and fire barrels spaced out intermittently. The 'first' floor you see is full of vehicles, a mix like you'd see at a large used car dealership with the exception of the care given to the exteriors. A lone Ork in a brown flannel shirt, the sleeves cut off to show his large arms and tattoos stands at the entrance of the first floor. "Eh Carnales! The things down one more level." H e says with some enthusiasm, as if this was a great job he has "Oh and Paco wants to rap wit youz bout something later. He's in there two....dwarf with no beard sporting cornrows, if you dont know who he is."

The bottom level......who could believe how nice a parking garage could be. The best furnishings from this part of the sprawl must have been looted just to decorate the place. While the chairs, sofas and loveseats didnt match, they were in good repair and of some quality. The place is lit by a multitude of quality lamps and no less than a dozen chandoleers. It is in the middle that a large concregation of carnales, but not nearly the entirety of them are talking or hanging in cliques.

He patted the Orc's shoulder on the way by, "Keep up the good work."

Looking round the decorated garage his expression remained solid. "Nice.. KE would have a field day."
He looked around for anyone not of the ordinary crew and for Paco, to keep an eye on him

"This is a lot of us in one place... What's this about?"
