"Oh really! That is very kind of you!"

Everyone could see it and everyone who been here since Heratic started working for the Chulos knew that look. His eyes finally lit up, the wide, sadistic grin covering his face. People for him to go to work on had been presented, he looked like a demon. On the astral what was left of his soul was suddenly burning in the twisted colours of insanity.

"That's an amazing offering my Spike friends! When can I meet them?"

Anyone who knew Heratic knew he couldn't be easily convinced to give up prey his "Torture Sights" were on.

<<@VPN: Well that's something of an answer.>>
Dizzy walked toward the center of the room a bit more.

"Your leader Torgo was killed in prison, yes?  And the Cutters leadership was poisoned.  Chulos ain't got a leader like that.  Some people here may think themselves top dog, but this is a community.  The barrio.  There are no obvious targets.  There is no head the Ancients can cut off.  If they come at Carbanado directly, it's full on war.  Block to block.  Bullet to head.  If it comes down to that - if we ride to war against the Ancients, do the Spikes ride with us?  If they try to cut off our suppliers and starve us out, will you ride with us?  If we see green colors moving on our business, are the Spikes ready to back us up?"

Dizzy had forgot for a moment how she had worked to remove herself from this gang and strike out on her own.
She was already moving back into her role.

The Troll avoids the psychotic looking Heretic, visibly glad the woman was speaking again. The Troll nods in the affirmative. "Wez movin' in da utter direction since Torgoz dead, butz wez ride wit ya if'n da Ancientz ridez against da Chulos. Youz needs da help if'n it comez ta dat....Chulos is too bigs ta hide an' layz it low. Wez be dere when da timez youz needz us."

Don, Pablo and a half dozen others begin vocally attacking at first Dizzy for her assumption there's no leadership, which quickly devolves into a shouting match and then amongst themselves. Paco is grinning ear to ear as he shouts to be heard by you. "This is funnier than the bum fights yo'. "

As the Trolls take their cue to leave with the commencing of arguments, his voice booms out. "Redmond. Highgate Manorz hotel."

<<@VPN:  Look at these fools.  Arguing over who's most worth killing.  I think they all tie for 1st.>>

Satisfied, Dizzy walked through the middle of the room toward Paco and the exit.
"Hola!  Paco!  You have anything nice in that van for me?  There's a rumor going around that we've got trouble coming."

Paco smiles and lets the obvious smart remark pass by unsaid. "Gots just about anything worth having. Come up and check my drek out.....so many goodies you'd think it was fraggin' Christmas."

Rafa looked unhappy and was tired of shutting up now the trolls were gone.
"So we just take those Pendejos word for it that the dandelion eaters are on a warpath against us, and we jump? Que chingados! Cutters, Spikes, Ancients, they all better stay out of Chulos turf!
The implication that the Chulos needed Spikes protection, and the way some of the Chulos had just seemed to accept it as true, pissed him off more than anything...
"What's to say Spikes don't just want us to provoke the elves so they don't have to keep watching their backs as they 'move other directions'? Think they just came here because it's nice to tell us about these 'plans' the elves' supposedly got?"

"Believe them or don't believe them.  Either way, they're the only ones giving things up and making promises here.  We don't have to do shit.  Besides, after they bring those two rapists by for Heretic to play with, he'll know everything they know, and we get to leave the rest thinking that we trust them.  Politics is just not your game Rafa..."

Dizzy followed Paco to the van.
"I'm looking forward to seeing how you've prospered, amigo."

seems like a good time to take cover behind some collumns and Doberman, double check firing mechanism and ammo resserve AND sending one of flyspies to follow those Spikes. Those motherfucker down here are on the good way to start shoting each other, I see no reason why to get involved in that. But it would be interesting to watch and record this scene.

Politics... now there was a dirty word if he'd ever heard one. It meant backstabbing without needing a weapon. Rafa knew playing fair wasn't always an option, but even playing unfair had its own set of rules. Politics, that was just ugly. Something invented by corpses, their stench all around it. He'd forgotten how used some of the others had gotten to that smell while they were climbing the ranks.

"Good, I don't believe them. If it comes down to a stand-off, keep your gun on all of 'em. Anything else will get you shot. Payback for some puta don't change that; if rapists bought you reputation, we could all be running for office.".
He watched Dizzy starting to move towards Paco's van and followed a couple of steps behind her. "Goodies, now those you can trust."

Jack disappeared mid-meeting, and appeared out of the shadows just by the van. Just like that - nobody even reacted. It was something he did, learned in the school of Surviving Lookouts. He smiled again, as the drone landed in the bag he kept open in his left hand...
Well, this looks both good and bad. I think the spikes are even more scared if they're willing to give away their own for something like that. It would mean a few clashes, but no serious bad blood between us and them, and if there's something they love, breaking heads is it. So, if the Spikes bow their heads instead of bashing skulls, things look serious. At least for them..."
He jumped into the van, and sat in the back, turning his head to Dizzy.
"And it's good to see a voice of reason returning. Good to have you back, if I forgot to tell you before."

"Let's see this haul of yours Paco before I go to Redmond.. Anything good for scooping out Troll dermal deposits?"

To be fair Paco would have to be offering something very unique to interest Heratic.

He walked to the van, chrome arms folded, his demeanor calm again.

"Ay, chinga!  If I'm your voice of reason, then you're in trouble!"
Dizzy lowers her voice a bit.  "Since we're in good company, I'll tell you something.  When I was first inside, about a week, I got the news that Hector and my ninő were killed.  Right away I think it has to do with that truckload of joderos I shot up to get put in there.  So, next time a bitch from that Black Rain crew hits the cell blocks, I take her off somewhere private.  I have a talk with her, and after a while she tells me some things.  After a longer while I believe her.  She says that they didn't kill Hector.  They couldn't have.  They were still hiding from the Chulos' retaliation to that first stunt that I shut down.  Makes sense, that pinche crew is too small to come back at us so quickly.  She says that word in the neighboring gangs was that the hit on Hector came from inside the Chulos.  I believe her on this too.  The guards find what's left of her and I spend the next seven years in Ad Seg.  That's Administrative Segregation, or solitary confinement to you."  Dizzy picks up a box of ammo.
"So, I stay away after I get out.  I let this wanna-be big-shot think he has gotten away with it.  And now, whoever did this thing to Hector and to my son, he is down there, right now.  He is screaming and wagging his dick.  He is cutting all his ties and burning all his bridges, hoping to take charge.  So, when I find him - when I know for sure who it is - I will kill him.  I will burn everything he was off the face of the Earth.  All the rest will say 'good' or 'see what happens' and none will look at me."
She drops the ammo back into the pile and smiles.
"Enough about me!  How have you been?"

Paco smiles. "You know I stays to my own business, drek keeps me busy enough to not get involved with all the other drek. Besides, everytime someone gets all nuclear, my products sells better." Looking at Heretic "Most my stuffs in firepower, but I deal with some pretty interesting people you know." He pulls out small black gym bag and dumps the assorted contents out and fishes out an item. "You know me I dont ask, but some fetish-boy wanted this special...ball gag with remore shock ability, yours for only 50." Paco laughs at the joke in his head for a moment "Its cheap cause he paid the most upfront then got himself killed by a nasty time with an Ork domminatrix."

Paco pulls out more items, including a chainsaw for heretic.

Looking at Dizzy "Long or short range needs?"

"I was thinking something explosive would be nice, but, yeah, I could use a new rifle.  I usually use an M23 with a forward bipod.  Easy to get rid of after a hit.  More than anything though, I need bullets."

His heart jumped at the word 'rifle', disappointment followed when it became clear they were talking about automatics... the kind of rifle that depended on luck and high numbers instead of accuracy to hit something.
"Got anything with some real range back there?"

Easy to get rid of? Screw that. It's hard enough finding some reliable ammo around here! Tossing a good gun after firing it sounds a lot like throwing away your car keys when the tanks runs empty. What happened to you when you were gone, Diz?
