Agreed on stun on the hellhound (although I'm sure that will manage to come back to bite us later).   Thanks for raising that, Tecumseh.

Jack: orokos has a dark, dark, sense of humour.  And a question: IC you wrote that Bobby entered the building.  Do you mean he's cutting open the door?

That depends: If the door is unlocked I won't have to cut it open. Otherwise, yes, I'll cut out the bolt.

I can post ICly for Mato approaching the building, but before I do I'm hoping (for RP purposes) that the GM can confirm what was and wasn't available at the Stuffer Shack:

- stinky cat food
- catnip toys
- steaks

Then I'll be on my way ICly.

@Jack
Are you cutting the lock on the door (as an osprey) prior to Mato's arrival, or are you just posting in advance and presuming that I'm already there with you?

I'm not cutting as an osprey  ;D
I meant to write that I'll take human form to do that. And I'm doing that only if the roof is empty (as I assume since my fly over earlier didn't indicate anything of the sort)

As far as my understanding is, Mato and Bobby will meet up in front of the appartment door behind which waits the hellhound.

Okay, so you're a buck-naked human cutting through which lock exactly?

The plan is to meet at the western door. Per the GM, the western door opens up onto a communal balcony that leads to the fire escape on the north side of the building.

I was thinking that Mato would take the fire escape while Bobby would fly to the balcony. You wouldn't need to cut any locks to get there. I don't think we need to touch the roof at all, nor would it really matter if anyone is up there (other than bored Barrens dwellers might take pot-shots at the damn big bird flying around).

So Bobby and Mato are going to try to pacify the hell hound with steaks, and failing that take it out?  (as opposed to Jawsey going in astrally first)?

(I was holding off posting his IC move on the hell hound until  AM cast the boost intuition spell, but I hold off entirely if you guys want to take it on instead -- with his focus out of action Jawsey has only marginal advantage over the hellhound, so I'm pretty easy either way on this one.  (I'll be saving for him to buy a higher rating focus so that bcg 1/2 doesn't knock it out of action -- he lost 4 attack dice, 3 damage, and a point of reach from a measly 1 point background count.  Something I hadn't thought about in character design, if I had I would probably have held off on the focus. Ah well, things to think of next time.)

Ah ok, that I missinterpreted. I thought the balcony had people on it. But if that's the easy way, Bobby certainly will accompany Mato.

@Jack
I guess we'll find out if the balcony has people on it when we get there.

@Beta
A) try to pacify hell hound with a steak (one for going in, one for walking out)
B) if it works, great, if not then tag team the hell hound between the physical and astral

@Beta  Thanks for reminding me... here you go!
I would potentially do improve charisma as well (for more damage) but with charisma 8 it is 5 drain which seems a bit risky at this point.

Improve Intuition: 9d6t5 4
Intuition raised by 4.
drain: 10d6t5 4
No drain.

I edited my last post to also include the spell.

It's 12:45am and I'm just now wrapping up work, so no IC post from me today. I'll try to get one up later today (Friday).

IC post is up. I took Mato to the bottom of the fire escape to give the GM an opportunity to intercede in case there's any resistance on the way up. Mato will mostly try to bribe people with his bag of goodies, but will get physical if he needs to.

In case there's no speed bumps getting up the fourth floor, then I'll wait for the GM's description of the situation before proceeding. (Especially interested in the type of door lock and the door construction.)

Aight, so I know I've been scarce lately.  I came to the realization that this job and this degree are not something I can sustain over the next 2 years, so I quit my job and have spent the last 2 days getting caught up on classes.  Now, I am slightly ahead, so later tonight imma catch up on the game's posts and get back into it.
