No... you guys are just too fast for me. I have a 9-5 office job that I shouldn't be posting from. I cheat sometimes, and do... but generally you can only expect one or two posts from me today. I'll have Eight-Stone hit up his contacts once I get home tonight and have time to compose a post.

That's problem the problem, then. Time zones. I'm on the East Coast of the US... it's 6 PM over here. 18:00 in your crazy Euro-time.  ;)

Where on the East coast? I'm Florida myself.

Eh, nowhere in particular. Also known as upstate New York.
Here are my contact rolls. Asking, basically, "Do you know these wacky kung-fu chick runners, Mr. Twist?" followed by "What's the deal with you giving me this job, Claw?"
Mr. Twist:
Texting Mr. Twist: Charisma (2) + Etiquette (1) + Loyalty (1) (4d6.hits(5)=2)
Hmm, not bad, considering I only had four dice to work with (I'm kind of enjoying how bad Eight-Stone is at everything, haha, first characters).
Claw:
Claw Contact Roll: Charisma (2) + Etiquette (1) + Loyalty (4) = (7d6.hits(5)=2)
I assume that you can do stuff like invite people to games and use whatever the 2072 version of Paypal is to pay people over the Matrix. The 100 nuyen Eight-Stone is sending Claw is from his private funds, not the group's advance. As for the information, Eight-Stone would be willing to pay up to 500 for halfway decent information. Anything higher than that is pretty strictly out of Eight-Stone's price range, I'm afraid. He'd have to ask if the group if he could use their advance funds, and if they said yes, might pay up to 1,000 nuyen.
Also, can we assume that Eight-Stone sent these messages while we were still at the ranch? While Eight-Stone is a somewhat lazy, impatient troll, he's also a professional shadowrunner. He wouldn't of stood around, picking his nose and playing Starcraft while his squadmates did all the work. He probably would've helped search the room and called his relevant contacts right away if his boring player hadn't been stuck doing spreadsheets while you all blitz-posted, heh.

the contact call were made during the time on the ranch. I assume, you're willing to pay for additional info no more than 500 NY

Okay, I'm back.
I won't play Deus Ex Astral this time, and Stryker will only summon Watchers all the time. With no real pressure - no kids involved, so he's calm - i can buy hits - one for each Watcher, that is an hour of existence, and easily stave off the drain the same way.
They will search areas of interest, and look for other targets, like the kidnappers. The main target is too well protected, and they're not the best tracking hounds.
If we don't have any solid leads, I could summon a Guidance spirit and ask it to use the Divination power. But that would be only as last resort.

and suddenly changing to orcish grumble:
This are Four Sioux women, that are tighter than an urban brawler’s choke hold. Clean and professional, they work out of the Hardpan for Sandy.
Okay... does Eight-Stone have any idea what Hardpan or Sandy is? Can I roll some sort of Knowledge check?
And, yeah, Eight-Stone coughs up the 200 nuyen. Not sure what use "They once walked over a job one time," is going to have, though.
Also, JDA, I think you might've intended your last post for the OOC thread.

Are there any negative modifiers before I roll my dice, including the dice for my program (Empathy)?

Also, my kit includes:

Ever stylish suit: Berwick
Half suit body armor
Colt Asp
Conceal Holster: Back
x2 Moon Clips (reloads for Asp)
Commlink (running Empathy prog.)
Lighter (camera)
Mempo mask

Boer, you haven't said you're taking your car with you. In the IC post I said, that Wilco picked all of you and you're crossing the border together, so you could smooth talk the checkpoint for all of them.

I could allow this if you insist, but I'd rather not have you split.
I'd much better welcome the decsion on either finishing the check or aborting it and heading together to whatever destination you want.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Ah I missed that part, I had offered Stryker a ride in post. It's no biggie if we all rolled up together, of course looking for tire treads is a waste of time in my opinion as we have intel on the abductors. I'll edit my post.
