When they enter the Van, Stryker is already there, conscious, and with a medkit at hand. He looks at the 'prisoner', and tends to him, knowing what happened from the team comm-net. He listened to what they are talking about, and after a moment spoke out.
"You better start thinking, people. Am I suddenly the only one who doesn't think about scoring some nuyen on the side, and making more enemies? Didn't you notice how Black Cats fare better without it? Seriously, I'm ashamed of you here."
He turns to his new patient, and looks him in the eyes. "You see a kid, but I am more than that... And I'd like to listen to the truth about you."
He points his finger at his chest, but not making any physical contact...
"The truth that makes you hurt so much I cannot look at it without flinching. So I'm going to ask questions, and if you answer truthfully, I'll risk my pay, my name, and my life to save you from any revenge Falcone would wish take. I know that doesn't usually mean much in this business, but to me it does."
He looked at the rest of the team again, expecting some kind of outburst from them, but his eyes were dead serious, enough to shut them up for a while.
"So I'll ask my questions: Did you send the ransom note? How did you know about the Black Cat's actions, and what was the nature of their employment? What is between you, and both Falcone and Belenkiy that would make you risk that much? If you tell me the whole story, from your point of view, my offer stands. But only if you speak the truth. And I will see it..."
