'Tis a nice crazy way to get into the thing, though of course the stats are outdated. I like it more than the SR5 Free QSR adventure. I actually ran food fight once before starting my first-ever short Shadowrun campaign.

Ah, the QSR I saw on the main website was for 5th edition. I downloaded it anyway, and then poked around the internet and found 4th edition's QSR with the adventure (Food Fight 4.0). Thanks for the info!

Food Fight isn't much of an adventure; it's just a fight. A potentially hilarious fight, and dressed up a bit with some story, but really not a lot.

I've used the Food Fight Table for a lot of events.  What comes out of random pipes that get shot/ripped out of the wall by the troll.  What is in that box that just took an Assault Cannon round.  What is really in the package Mr. Johnson sent the group out with on a Courier Run.  What "Mystery Meal" is coming out of the Mecha-Chef tonight because the PC went cheap and got a knock-off of a knock-off without the instruction manual.  What the "Mud" in the wrestling pit is at the strip club that the group operates out of.

Quite a useful little table.

A 6 years old running joke. There's an SR4 booklet on addiction and stuff, Sim Dream & Nightmares (source of SR5 Addiction rules even), where a sheep is mentioned regarding some run enough times that it drove both Jackpointers and forum peeps here crazy in trying to figure out what it was about. CanRay wrote that excellent thing and I still bring up the sheep from time to time.  :P

Hmm, was it ever mentioned what the sheep was?

The sheep was a bit of me being artistic and trying to do a bit of Coyote Teaching (also known as The Socratic Method.).

The lesson isn't about the Sheep, but rather the fact that the JackPointer was stuck on that one single thing to the point of pissing everyone off.

Of course, I was also pissing everyone off at the same time, so, effectively, I made fiction reality for a limited point of time.

I converted Food Fight into a car chase with an Italian fusion taco truck. The kitchen gadgets became improvised weapons and road hazards.
