There was a great SR2(v?) device that allowed runners to buy a soy food-maker, complete with texture and flavour enhances to spit out anything from a Hamburger to Thanksgiving dinner.

Looks like Hamburger, tastes like a hamburger...but is actually Tofurkey....

In the 2070s, it's called a Soy Processing Unit, or SPU, and is the central appliance of any homes kitchen.

For the record, Stuffer Shack are convenience stores chain, not restaurants.

True but they are "famous" for their soy "food" and more gamers know them than the newer (cannon wise) McHugh's, so I went with what'd get my point across.

Someones fibbing then. I don't see why a law firm would put themselves in the way of that defamation suit unless they had good evidence.
Just a little FYI.  Lawyers make money regardless if they win or lose.  Someone fronted the cash for the lawsuit, and the lawyers gladly took it.  And Taco Bell's lawyers gladly took TB's and defended them.  And then the suit was completed, and the lawyers (on both sides) got their fees based upon the length of the proceedings.

With money like that, who wouldn't want to take the case?
There is no overkill.

So a 7-11.  :P

"Mmmmmmmm, Nuke 'n' Serve AzTexMex Burritos."  "Aw, man, Pequeño, you know those give you gas!  Troll gas is the worst gas, and we're going to be in that van all day long."  "You got a gas mask.  And I have AzTexMex Burritos!"

Stuffer Shacks are kinda like Nerps.  They're whatever you want them to be at that particular point in time.  It actually wouldn't surprise me in the least if they had 'restaurants' attached to a lot of them, particularly since it's dirt simple to install an autocooker and a few plastic tables to churn out soypatties and the like.  I suspect that the only reason we don't see more of them in North America now is because of pesky food regulation stuff, something that's not a huge concern in 2072.

Hell, 2050!  Especially as we know AZT owns Stuffer Shack, and can easily grease whatever wheels they want to boost revenue.

I see Highway-Side Stuffer Shacks like that, with the ones in the city being descendants of 7-11s and Circle-Ks.

Stuffer Shack: Where else can you find auto parts, electronics, ammunition, booze, and catfood in the same aisle?

Canadian Tire.

As for fast food, IIRC, McHugh's is the big chain in Shadowrun, having very high security.  If I ever GM again, I plan on running a few games where the Mr. Johnson meets there.

Lol, that would be hilarious I'll have to think of a way to bring that up in game.

Maybe have the runners get hungry and head to a Stuffer Shack, when they arrive the parking lot is packed and there's a gunfight going on inside. Above the door is a ARO that says now serving number 17. One of the groups is debating staying or going to do a run with the arguements of "I don't want to miss our turn" vs. "We're number 45 we have time".
