I was debating about where to place my game, so I went on a mad hunt for a really detailed map of Seattle which I did find, ran into a snag when printing up the map with a little pink shaded area on the map printing. Looked for pdf files and could not find pdf files to print up. So I went down and found old road maps of other cities that I could use, like I have a map book of Virginia Beach, Va and surrounding cities like Norfolk and started to think of things which I know I would have to fill in what I want to be on the area.
My main question for Everyone, Virginia happens to be in the CAS area and so I am trying to see if anyone has anything talking about CAS in detail? Is there any hostilities between UCAS and CAS? I was also going to make it more with Federated-Boeing controlled area since there is alot on Naval Bases in there area and have the some of the Mega-Corps trying to See what Federated-Boeing is working on?
  Any input very much appreciated.

Shadows of North America has some decent CAS info, and there's the usual couple-page blurb in The Sixth World Almanac.  There have been long-simmering hostilities (troops near the border, heavily guarded checkpoints, lots of angry glaring) between the CAS and UCAS, but with the ongoing pressure from Aztlan to the south, the CAS hasn't gone out of its way to get into an open "hot" conflict with the Yankees, or anything.

I'm running my game in the good-old CAS, Hampton Roads (better known as the blip on the map labeled "Norfolk Sprawl") to be exact. I haven't rooted through the information from old editions (i.e., Shadows of North America) yet, but the 2-3 page blurb in 6WA was plenty to fluff out some of the big picture.

Google Maps + my knowledge of Hampton Roads gave me all I needed in terms of physical locations.

Personally, as I've said elsewhere, I usually prefer to find somewhere to set my games that doesn't have a lot of information, that way, when I re-write it to suit my story, there's less conflict and less confusion.  :)

Shadows of North America and Neo-Anarchists Guide to North America as well as Sixth World Almanac are the way to go.

I would not make it Fed-Boeing controlled. Fed-Boeing is a Seattle based company while their biggest competitor is Lockheed-Martin, a Fort Worth based company. Considering the DFW metroplex was almost the CAS capital, it is unlikely that fellow southerners would embrace the city being controlled by their arch enemy.
One of my players works for Lockheed, so he readily enjoys runs on Fed-Boeing. Making the city a Lockheed-Martin controled city makes more sense.

No open hostilities between the CAS and UCAS, but plenty between the CAS and Aztlan. Frankly I don't understand why we didn't make our move when Amazonia did.

Everyone,

Thanks for the information as this will be my first time running the Shadows and that I really do not have that much knowledge with past editions of the game, but have found myself enjoying this edition and expanding my horizons in other books when I get around to them.
