In QSR it states legal test use electronics + logic and illegal test use cracking + logic. But control device and trace icon are illegal actions that use electronics + logic. Should this be cracking instead?  Also spoof command uses hacking + logic. Hacking does not appear to be a skill. It’s is not listed on the linked skill / attribute table. Should this be cracking too?

the skill+attribute combinations are just the standard, but there are a few exceptions .. so used the skills as listed with the action

hacking is a specialization of the Cracking skill

Control Device is a special case where you use your illegal access to illegally do what a legal user could do normally, Trace Icon is also a special thing. So in those cases Electronics makes sense.

So in the case of spoof command if I don’t have the specialization hacking but do have cracking do you still take the -1 for being untrained or can you just not do it?

no, you just use cracking, but the hacking specialization applies ... it's just a carry over effect (typo) of changing some of the skill names around since the QSR was written before the CRB was finalized
