So when will those of us (unlike me, in the hospital) see a copy of the Core Rules? With Gen Con underway I was hoping that it would have at least been on sale in the store via Digital. Any hints on when we will see it? It is truly odd to see Errata released before what it is based on...

Sadly for people going to DragonCon (Aug. 29 – Sep. 2, 2019 in Atlanta, GA) this won't be a thing. Was hoping for a Demo of the edition or running a 6ed beginner scenario.

Oh well, keep us posted on when we can expect Book in Hand.

So I’m new out here. Not new to gaming and not really new to SR (since I was there to purchase 1st edition at launch) but new to attempt to play it regularly. I’m not sure I understand all this about the launch of 6th core book. Isn’t it due out for the rest of us on the 15th of Aug? Or is there some delay in the public release?

There's no details, but from what it sounds like, they are delaying the general release of the Core Rulebook until October, with the PDFs being available sometime in September. As I said, we haven't heard details, so it could be anything from wanting to integrate the Hotfix errata (released here), to issues with the printer and not being able to deliver product to the stores until they print more.

I'm also not sure how this will effect the release schedule for Cutting Black or 30 Nights as these were supposed to be released after the Core Rulebook.

I would be more than happy to get them around the same time, so that I could start my campaign, but I'm guessing that if the rulebook is being pushed back then the other materials will also be pushed back a similar amount?
