Because I am a huge dork, I have been working on a way to make a juicer for shadowrun and got to thinking about the adrenaline pump and how it interacts with things and had a few questions. don't want to delve too deep into the 'how to juicer' question because many other threads on here have done that, just need some input on the following.

1, would the the genetech Narco from the blood and chrome book effect (p. 159) an adrenaline pump?? In the description it says it effects 'any drug' and adrenaline is technically drug. I personally would say no and wouldn't allow it for a game I would run but tell me what you guys think.

2, could you end the effect early with another drug that counteracts adrenaline?? Ketamine counteracts adrenaline and using that would add all kinds of other drug related issues but, I remember from the bad mechanic remake that it does work :). I think this one would be alright since taking stun based on how long it is on and not being able to turn it off early is one reason why alot of folk don't use it

3, If adrenaline pump's effects are treated as a drug how would it interact with other drugs?? would you be taking stupid damage for using an adrenaline pump and a synthetic drug that boosts the same stats. Because of my opinion on 1, I don't think it would interact with other drugs, at least not causing stupid damage.

4, and lastly, could you add a ware upgrade to store adrenaline for extra uses?? Blood and chrome have two such upgrades, one for the chemical gland (expanded reservoir p.117) and one for the auto injector (same name p.85). this one is more a 'would you allow it in your game' kinda question since those are mods for other ware but I could see it working.

I know how I would interpret this mess for my game but, wanting to use this for a character, I might not be the most objective; What do you guys think??

3--doesn't matter if the drug effects stack.  If you take them both, you should take damage from both.  Mixing drugs is dangerous.  Stupid damage for stupid things, IMO.

In shadowrun you usually only take extra damage if the drugs effect the same stats, its on page 415 of the core book. I'm not sure how adrenaline is treated in game but have it work like other drugs makes it less versatile and thats one of the few things adrenaline pump has going for it. Thanks for the input though, questions have been stuck in my head for weeks :-/

1. AFAIK Adrenaline Pump and the Narco Genemod don't interact in any way. 

2.  RAW Adrenaline Pump and it's effects are not treated as Drugs in any way.  It works as advertised.

3.  RAW you can take drugs that boost the same things Adrenaline Pump does, no interaction.

4.  RAW no.

All that said, a GM could easily house Adrenaline pump counts as a drug and has some interaction with Narco, counts for overdosing, ect, ect.

Also, Kamikaze and Betameth are all you ever need with Narco.  Just, FYI.

That was the conclusion I reached too. I just had all these ideas stuck in my head and I can't let it go until I get a satisfactory answer, don't care what, just need answers. For the love of all thats good and holy help me, I need sleep ;p

Narco, Double Elastin, Designer Grade Betameth and Kamikaze, whatever level of Nephretic filters you need to trivialize addiction tests.  Done.
