Story wise, yes.
RAW, i think the only other Magic/Resonance loss I've seen in 6th is Glitch/Critical Glitch results which are typically temporary.
But in the Fiction Disease, Age, Drug/BTL use, and an assortment of Plot devices have all been shown to impact Magic. Not sure about Resonance though.
