I've been pondering that myself, actually.  You could try smuggling it, certainly.  Or steal one on the island.

You're planning a vehicle rigger, then, and not a drone rigger?
Shadowrunners are reminded that the Fashion Police are a real organization and will they will be deployed at the first sign of defiance.

Even if he's not trying to get a personal vehicle onto the island, bringing multiple combat-worthy (Body 3+, lg dog to man-sized) drones is going to require special consideration.

If the rigger's getting a Conestoga, maybe there's a way to have it disguised as a corp safari tour or something, with either the face getting us tickets/reservation or the hacker sleazing something up for us in the island's tour management system. Getting the rigger's hardware to the island is definitely going to be a priority for us.

Sleazing sounds fun. I think I can sleaze. And if that fails I have an ID broker contact who could probably whip up a fake pass for a special corporate tour.

Question though: can my Harley be somehow mounted on the conestoga? Even if it's just lashed to the roof when not in use? That would be fine by me ALTHOUGH I would much prefer a Dark Knight esque Batcycle ejector thing.  ;D

It'll fit.
I made safari-esque vehicles on purpose. Solar Powered bus and a very nice off road rover courtesy of Kontact

I like the idea of sleazing in myself, and getting the Conestoga means we might be have a better chance of sneaking are gear in.

I know a Horizon manager who -might- be willing to send some employees on a Dino Safari tour... but I'm guessing that will be more expensive than having Nomad mess with the reservations record. A ferry does exist to go there, right..? Or should I also pillowtalk a city service engineer into building a bridge to the island? (In which case, no problem, but we might need a longer deadline.)

A group-owned bus does seem a convenient way of getting all of our stuff there without too much problems... You did clean the seats, yes?
(And a second vote for the cocktail lounge. Horizon treats its wageslaves well!)

I've upgraded from squatter amenities to middle. Luxary wouldn't fit.

Why dont make that car amphibious? It would be usefull when we will try to run away from that island. And the real safari truck should have been modified to this :)

Hmmm thats not a bad idea, a few of us could go on an official tour and the others could sneak in that way maybe

Hahaha, I can imagine some poor guy, in a submarine guarding the waters, suddenly hearing "Hail to the busdriver" on the sonar and wondering if all that confinement in a small dark space has finally driven him mad.

Ok little bit more of Bolts (yeah Bolts not Bolt, mistyped that) background.  The local Vory helped me get out Russia and into Seattle where i did a little courier work for them.  Got the name Bolts after the first run i was on, was teamed up with a ork rigger and a dwarf technomancer who went by the name of Chuckin' Rock.  We were doing a little smash job on what was supposed to a low end warehouse, what we didn't know was that there was a drill being run there by a MCT sec team.  Anyways we get hit almost the minute we bust in Rock (the techno) is busy running ECM and making sure they don't get any alerts out, and Chuckin' is hitting everything can with his drones I end up with a clear shot at the mage with the team so blast away with my Ingram.  He must have had some sorta shield or armor spell up cause all I seemed to do was annoy him, cause he turns around and nails me with a lighting bolt and puts me on my ass for a about a minute.  I get my head back and I figure ahhh now I can get him, so i blast away again.  And wouldn't you know same thing happens cept I'm not stunned as long and when he turns around to toss another bolt at Rock I toss a frag grenade his way.  I don't know if that killed him or what cause Chuckin' was yelling over the comm to get the hellot of there.  After that Chuckin' started calling me Bolts, rock tried calling me Sparky one time but I kinda broke his nose for that, believe me he was asking for it and that was just the last straw.  After that I got the case mod on my cyber arm with lighting bolts.

Ooc I think that my Black Market Pipeline is someone in Evo using me as a test bed for new cyberware as they have my records on file, as long as I don't cause them to much damage, but of course I have no clue that thats whats going on.

My fixer contact is named Valentin Gorov, a member of the vory
street doc is named   Prof. Irontooth, an Orc cyber doc

It would probably be more expensive to use your Horizon contact, especially since he'd need a way to cover his ass after our run (unless we manage to be 100% quiet). Worth keeping on the table as an option, maybe.

Juicer's gonna defer on most of that, however... his legwork benefit is minimal.
