(I'm using "green normal speech", teal PAN/PM (usually subvocal, but can be text), italic private thoughts (those I'm willing to share anyways :p), Matrix... nothing but profile updates so far.)

Silk's got the ability to speak to Nomad without the sound actually needing to travel the distance... would be hard to hear no matter what tech...
Also, unless you're specifically filtering out their conversation you can't pick out their voices in all the music and a thousand other voices. Filtering them out without them knowing would be pretty impolite; enough that even -if- you're really doing that, you might not want to bring her attention that you're eavesdropping on her.
Do as Gaunt wants/can, just warning you that any character with basic social skills would consider that rude and insulting... (And Silk is a very social character... also Vindictive)

She's pretty much got you figured for loud and obvious, but paranoid at the same time... no mystery to solve there, LK is just not too bright :p Still, not too bad looking...
She knows lots of people like that: good looks but not too bright, definately not bad people, make a good living too... You still have options if shadowrunning doesn't turn out to work for you, the oldest profession in the world always has openings (pun intended)

As for the question you asked Gaunt... there's no microcrawler with self-detonation he can crawl up your butt... that's at least somewhat comforting. >:p
