Played SR1 and SR2.  I have a group wanting to play and I'm going to be running mainly as GM. 

So, I expect you all will be seeing me post a lot of questions.

At creation (excluding the native language)
p67 of 6th

Does the number of knowledge and language skills equal logic
Example:
Logic 3
character spends 2 point in Knowledge skills and 1 point in a new language (Total 3)

OR
Does the player get knowledge and language skills equal to logic
Logic 3. 
character spends 3 points in Knowledge skills and 3 points in languages (Total of 6 points)

Also, IIUC, each level of language is treated as another purchase.

Logic 3 wants to be an expert in second language, means all 3 picks have to go into Language.  (Or buy with starting Karma, obvs)
