When Dizzy made it back to her body, the autocab was dinging angrily asking for money.  The price continued to climb, until she slotted her credstick into the crappy old jack.  She clicked out18 nuyen and exited the cab to the sound of some hollow electronic platitude.  Strolling past the normal porch rats and their normal quiet as they recognized her, she mentally unlocked her door and set her lights on.  Now in her place of power, she dropped onto the sofa in her kitchen/livingroom and left her body behind again.  Zooming through the shadows of the astral, she made her way back to where the others were waiting.

"Just let me know when you're ready to leave.  We shouldn't be here when he comes out."

Waiting in an alley within line of sight from Shack meet site, Smiley kicks a rock HARD when he hears the news. 

"Frag, Kickz, can you hustle back over there and pick up the eyes-on surveilance?  Vince might have made Rat on stakeout duty.

Kage, if you can maintain your links, bring your meat bod over here.  I am going to wait for Johnson and give him the updated locale when we have it confirmed, having another set of eyes can't hurt."

Kage is still about five minutes out when Vincent pulls away. He passes right by Rat and doesn't seem to notice him or that the car was there when he went in. Kickz is about three blocks away and can easily close to sight distance if he decides to since he has a good idea where he is going.

Let me know who is waiting for Mr. Johnson at the Stuffer Shack and who is following where on Vincent.

Between Dizzy in astral space and Kage following the gridlink it is easy to follow him for the twenty minutes it takes him to get to the Everett location.

Mr. Johnson shows up at the Stuffer Shack about fifteen minutes after Vincent left.

I need to know if Sir Kickz or Smiley are going to follow Vincent or wait for Mr. Johnson.

As mentioned before, Rat will be headed to a site near the Everett location that could be used as a staging area and awaiting further instructions.

Rat parks in a dark alley a couple of blocks from the duplex in Everett. The alley looks like any other in many ways only the gang colors have changed. You can smell the soy dogs cooking in the Stuffer Shack at least you hope that is what you are smelling. Your stomach grumbles a bit as you sit waiting to hear the next move.

Dizzy follows the car at a short distance well short for astral space. You watch it stop and figure that Vincent is parking the car. He gets out and quickly walks over to the door and lets himself in. The building has the gloomy pallor of the average downtrodden person's home. You think it is odd that someone supposed to be so successful has such gloom surrounding his belongings. You remember that Kage said that Vincent only owned one part of the duplex yet the astral signature that lingers is the same for both halves.

Mr. Johnson gets out of the car as he parks. "That didn't take long. I take it he is nearby. Somehow I don't see him holed up munching soy dogs at the Stuffer Shack." He smiles and chuckles at his joke. "You are sure that he is nearby right? My informant told me he was living in Tacoma." He looks at Rat the humor gone from his expression.

 ((OOC: looks at Kage or Smiley you mean.))

"Well Mr. J, we are a pretty damn awesome team. His lady lives nearby, he was there when Smiley called ya, but has since moved to this address." Kage puts up an ARO of Vincent's location. "As to your informant," the hacker chuckles somewhat derisively "tell em for a reasonable fee I can sell them accurate info to peddle. He's not spent more than a couple hours in Tac over the last week. He has logged a lot of time at his current location and a few others. We also know where he will be tomorrow at 11AM, so therefore can infer the route he will take, even if he moves again tonight. So you got the info to take him at your leisure over the next several hours. " Kage grins and gives the Johnson a wink.

He turns and looks at Kage with a tight smile. "Really?" and he pulls up a AR window that is data stamped 3 days ago and shows Vincent getting out of a stretched limo with what is clearly the Sea-tac mall in the near background. "It seems to me that he was there very recently. You might want to check your sources." He looks at the address you gave him. "How long will he be there? Or when I get there will I be told by one of your friends that I just missed him again."

"As to his future movements,"Kage pops up an ARO with Vincents gridlink feed data "watch em for yourself. On the admittedly short time sample we have, he normally spends (insert proper amount of time) at this location. That's a nice pic, really got his good side. Did you not think this was useable data, if so it'd have been nice to have before. Our data is on his movements in his personal car, backed by astral surveillance on the hot spots to confirm he'd been there frequently."

"I don't want to be chasing him all over the place. That is why I hired you. To find him, find out where he was staying and then let me know."
 
"So is this where he is staying? It still seems a bit early in the night to be bedding down do you think?" He looks from Kage to Smiley and then back. "I don't doubt what you have learned, or that you are trying to deal honestly with me as I am with you."

He waits a minute as he studies the two of you. "OK I'll go to this new address if you are sure it is worth my time."

[Crossbow]

(ooc:  I am so pissed about this pice of junk dying on me when it did, this was supposed to go down MUCH different.  Ah well, such is life)

"Mr Johnson, I believe there is the matter of the remainder of our fee.  I am assuming you will want to hold on to that until we get to Everett, but I must insist we get paid before you have your talk with McPherson.

He is stronger than you led us to believe, so I have doubts about your ability to square with us after the fact.  Of course, we can discuss some of those arrangement options that were  earlier mentioned earlier this evening."

Mr. Johnson smiles tightly at Smiley, "While I appreciate your concern it really isn't necessary." He pauses for a second then holds up a finger, "oh wait a minute you are afraid you won't get your money. Well it is in an escrow account like we agreed upon." your AR shows the code to a numbered account. "When the contract is fulfilled it is all yours. Now I am off." He turns and starts back to his car.

Smiley jogs back to his bike and follows Johnson to Everett.
