As the fresh clip locks into place and the Panther's bolt chambers the first round, and the spent clip is slipped in to his cargo pocket, Brick see's the flash of a mana discharge from the other hall. "Shit..." Brick looks back to the apartment where the last detected node was and fires a wide burst. (10d6.hits(5)=4)(forgot wound mod. make that a 3 hits) Brick whips around and sprints down the hallway. (9d6.hits(5)=3) (OOC:half running rate is 17.5 meters + 3 hits = 20 meters)

{Status: 5P damage No Stun damage, -1 wound penalty, } 16 Rounds left in Panther clip, 40 Rounds left in IngramX clip

@Brick:

As soon as you get the shot off you see the little orange dot in the bedroom disappear and hear a blood curdling scream of a male voice and then in a strained voice which your audio enhancements pick up you hear the raspy voice yell,   "Ok .....ughh....lady, keep your head low but we're moving out!!".  You see the little dot from the bathroom move.  You don't hear anything else, but you suddenly see the other dot also disappear.  Your first shot which was directed by the your knowledge of the commlinks location must have hit its mark and destroyed it....the second dot must have shut off it's PAN as soon as the person in the bedroom was in whispering range.

[OOC: Stryker's turn again, you're in melee combat with the Adept.]

Stryker concentrated on the pain. He didn't only try to control it, he tried to use it. He held on to the various stings and spasms that were taking over his body, slowly numbing it, and tried to turn them into a force that would keep him alive. And when he called on his magic again, the waves of Mana felt like a sof, soothing touch. He grinned madly, knowing that the enemy will see his bloodied smile. And then he released the power he stored with his will by clenching his left fist, ignoring the pain it caused. "Eat this, samurai shibō..."

Spellcasting:Magic(4)+Spellcasting(5)+Specialty(2)+Mentor(2)-Wounds(5)=8 (8d6.hits(5)=3)
Drain Resistance(3P):Drain Resistance (10d6.hits(5)=3)

[I posted, but you probably meant Zach, not Stryker. The powerbolt should work though, as it's a Direct spell, and doesn't need targeting - just seeing my target is enough, and as such there is no risk of friendly fire...]

Full parry:
Full parry: Reaction(7)+2xKnives(12)+combat sense(2)+Weapon focus(2)-2= (21d6.hits(5)=6)
dunno if Stryker means Friend in melee, for that case I would roll 1 more
Additional die for Friend in melee (1d6.hits(5)=1)

Ill also need to resist drain from Agility boost:
body(4)+ willpower(3)-2 (5d6.hits(5)=2)
Means no drain

PAN: "I hope we can take care of this sucker. Finish the bitch."

Initiative for CT 5 (9d6.hits(5)=4)=13

@Stryker:

The Adept seems focused on you showing that he's experienced enough to know that you still are the biggest threat.  As he trades parries and swings with Zach he quickly flips his katana over his head twice and repositions the blade so that the swing is coming straight for you but your ork teamate deftly intervenes again with his much smaller blade, grunting with the exertion as his blood red tusks are lit up by the mana flash produced by the striking of orichalcum against orichalcum.

[OOC: Adepts strike at Stryker: Agility 5 + Blades 8 + net reach 2 + Weaponfocus 2 + wound -2= (15d6.hits(5)=3).  Zach parries it.  Adept init: (7d6.hits(5)=5).  Also rolling for stryker.  Stryker's init: (5d6.hits(5)=2).  It's Zach's turn.]

Instead of parrying  with brute force, Zach uses the energy of the second attack and lets the katana`s blade slide aside on his knife, directing the energy of attack behing its intended strike point. This throwes his opponent slightly out of ballance, opening his defences for counter strike.

Agility(4)+Knives(6)+Focus(2)+Counter strike(1+4)+Friend in melee(1)-2+Edge(1,reroll)= (17d6.hitsopen(5,6)=7)
DV: 4P

(OOC: You dont have net reach +2, just +1: Zach 0, Adept 1 means +1 modificator for adept OR -1 mod for Zach, SRA p.157)

@Zach:

You thrust and parry and his flawless technique amazes you as you can almost visibly see the Qi he emits, his movements cut through the air almost like a blur, and you have to push yourself to match him slash for slash....your eyes slowly turning yellow and narrowing into vertical slits as you try and let the cat take control.  You suddenly see an opening as he brings his blade up for head strike, you lunge forward with all your weight and without even trying to, you let out a cry like a bob-cat and plunge your blade directly into his solar-plexus.  The adept freezes in your grip, as his sunglasses slowly fall off his face to the floor.  You see the man is of mixed asian and anglo decent and he doesn't utter even a sound as blood begins to flow freely from his mouth.  You pull him in even closer, your tusked mouth only a centimeter or two from his ear and as you give the blade one last little twist you send him off by whispering "I vood luv to stay and dance...but i'm on the clock.  Do svidaniya moĭ drug"

As his katana clatters to the ground you pull out your blade and let go of him to let his body slump to the floor.

[OOC: Adept's defense: Reaction 7 + Blades 8 + Reach 1 + Weapon Focus 2 + Wound -2 = (16d6.hits(5)=6).  He has 5P coming in at him.  Adept's damage soak: Body 4 (4d6.hits(5)=0).  Takes all of it....and is now dead.  Brick's up.]

Stryker stood up, stumbling and holding the wall tightly, and started walking towards Brick's position. He coughed a mouthful of blood, and tripped, but managed to keep his balance. He stopped for a second to check if Zach is following, and checked his subvocal microphone.
"We're comming. I can fight..." He whispered weakly, hoping Brick will hear it. "Take his blade, Zach." He whispered to his companion...

Brick turns and moves in to the stairs, far enough to not be seen unless you where looking down into them. Then turns around waiting for razor girl and her backup to come into view...

(OOC: after thought, rolling to see if i can hear them coming, since they've had time to move.(8d6.hits(5)=3)

Zach salutes befellen enemy with his blade, cleaning it and hiding it back to the arm slide. He picks up his SMG, katana scabard from dead body and then he picks up katana and sheaths it.

PAN: "One less. I have the feeling that the magician Stryker mentioned short while ago is still waiting for us, let us do not haste this up. Stryker, are you ready to face him? He may have another spirit...Brick...had you "made" any more exit points from that apartement, or would they need to use the front doors?"

Boost my agility again:
Magic(5)+Agility boost(1) (6d6.hits(5)=3)

Then Zach pulls out his big survival knife (machette), and cuts adepts head of..and take it. No more actions in this CT.

@Brick:

As you lay in wait in the stairwell, all of a sudden a form which looks as if it is being weaved from a blackish looking mana begins to take shape and you can make out the form of a small etherial crow which perches itself on the hand railing only a meter from you and squawks.  "Squaaawk...master has message for you....he wants to strike a deal.  He'll give you the girl for no hassle and you can walk before the Knight Errant arrives .... just take her and leave."   It simply sits there occasionally pruning it's astral feathers waiting for a response from you.

Stryker clasped his hands together, trying not to let a gasp of pain escape his lips, and failing that. But with the gasp a silvery being of pure Mana appeared, swirling and blinking to report it's readiness for service.
Quote from: Summoning a Watcher Spirit
Summoning: Magic(4)+Summoning(3)-Wounds(5) (2d6.hits(5)=2) 2 hours of service
Drain(1S): Drain Resistance (10d6.hits(5)=3) Easily resisted
Stryker smiled to his Watcher lightly, and opened his mind, trying to filter the pain from his thought to spare the little creature taking the echo of his suffering. He pictured the entrance to the room in which the enemy was in his mind, and sent his Watcher a mental message that said 'take a peek in there, as stealthily as you can, and show the image of the whole room, especially marking the enemy mage's location, and show it as an image to my Troll friend who stands outside'.
Most summoners didn't bother treating their watchers as he did, but they weren't Spellweavers. Even those tiny beings of possibility, fueled by the echos of the magicians mind were worthy of respect and care...

Brick's red eyes seem to glow as he looks at the spirit, then he speaks. "Then deliver this message to your master. We're both professionals, so I'll put this plainly. You're a mage and I'm no foul. There is only one deal here, Your unconditional surrender. You will blind fold yourself and escort the girl out. Both of you will have your hands on your heads do not speak, even to acknowledge a command or we will use deadly force.  When you get to the hallway, you will follow our instructions exactly. Any deviation from our instructions will result in the immediate use of deadly force just do as you're told. Once we're sure that the girl isn't some fake mojo you spun up, and we have your weapons, you can walk out of here no more harm no more fowl, but not before. Girl comes with us. If our backup even thinks for a second that you've got a spirit following us, the next time we meet, I'll kill you myself. This is the best offer you'll get for the trouble you've caused us. Do you except the terms?"

Brick then transmits sub vocally to the rest of the team, "styker meet me at the stairs, the mage in the apartment wants to surrender, his life for the target. also, I've got a stim patch with your name on it. (switching to Or'zet) Zach, the mage inside wants to surrender, his life for our target. be ready receive a prisoner, and be ready to kill the mage if he even twitches wrong. on the oft chance we can end this quickly and quietly we should."
