Ok,  So I've already sort of drawn up a sheet myself for the guy but am looking to get other points of view so I'm not going to post my setup just to keep it from maybe influencing other possible builds.   The character is to be The Chief of Police in Seattle.   Its that simple,  or that complicated.   I found it a troublesome build.   He's to not be awakened, and his funding unlimited,  have to figure that being in such a role Lonestar has probably dumped some nuyen into him.   But anyways,  just looking for other idea's when it comes to builds as stated.   So thanks in advance to anyone who chips in.

What made it complicated? Are you making him the BBEG for your campaign? Will your players have to face off with him?

Being the Chief of Police is a political position, not a rank in the police force. Granted, most chiefs have police experience, but it's the smart and crafty ones that go into politics. Which means he probably went into investigative or supervisory positions after being a rookie.

If I were statting him up, I'd go for high Cha, Int, Wil, and Edge. Some bioware (he knows how to bend the law without breaking it), if he has cyberware, maybe a 'Star suite to show his past in the field. But he's probably now investing in ware that'll increase his political interactions. He can save the major cyber augmentations for his "right-hand man".

Lots of contacts. He's the Chief, he doesn't have to dirty his hands. And if he's corrupt, those contacts are going to be definitely shady.

Hope that helps.

Well he's to be a GM character on a Sim,  so a player run character.   Will most likely have to be able to hold his own against runners since we can't expect people to be online all the time to watch his back,  other wise he'd be somewhat easy pickings for any cocky runner looking to nail himself a high ranked officer to toss on his resume.
