here is my first draft of the background story for Harry Eastwood
Alex Bernstein was born in Algona hospital, AUburn, Seattle on the 13th of January 2042.
His Father Allan was an officer on the lone star force,
his mother a secretary for Renraku corporation.
Both his mother and father are human.
Alex was born a normal child, had a normal youth and lived the happy live.
Ever since he was little he's been fasinated by law enforcement.
His favorite movies were cop trids and he is a big fan of the Dirty Harry franchise
Wich he discovered at age 6, going around his deceased grandfather's stuff.
His parents always loved him, and did everything they could to make their only son happy.
This way he got a bit spoiled during childhood and had some trouble adjusting to high
school since not everything there went the way he wanted (wich he was used to).
During highschool it was quickly obvious James was no collega material. When he became
16 his father enlisted him in the lone star academy.
This is were James meets Elvis Castello (beat cop contact) and Elly Flannerty (forensic expert contact).
Together they go to training and become good friends.
He followed basic training and became a cop on his 18th birthday. For his graduation He got the lonestar
swat cybersuite installed.
Alex and Elvis are made partners and they get transfert to the Downtown district. They keep in contact with Elly,
who is assigned to the Seattle Lone Star HQ.
Alex gets married to his high school sweetheart Angela Girst on the 5th of october 2060. They move in together in
a small apartement in Downtown Seattle.
After two years of working the streets Alex is transfered to the homicide departement and made detective.
He gets some extra training in interrogation techniques and data search protocols.
Alex is very succesfull as a homicide detective and solves more than 5 murder cases in less than a year.
He has to thank Eddy Fink (snitch contact) for some of these as he provided the nessesary information.
Then disaster strikes for the first time, out of nowhere James starts mutating and becomes
a Troll. Lone star takes him of the streets and puts him on desk duty, fearing no one wants a Troll to come tell them
their relatives have been murdered. And Angela, who can't cope with his new body files for divorce.
Alex accepts the divorce but he and Angela stay close friends. He understands her feelings towards him changed with his appearance change.
He moves back in with his parents in Auburn.
After some months It is clear to his supperiors that Alex isn't suited for desk work. At that time, Lone star is
forced to take action on the gang fronts in Seattle. They offer Alex a position as lieutenant in the narcotics brigade
and ask him to go undercover.
Alex gets introduced to Sfinx (ID manufacturer contact), a mysterious man
who helps him create an alternative personality for his undercover work.
Because Alex is rather slender for a troll, he gets a muscle augmentation and toner procedure on lone stars costs.
After some months of preparation Alex infiltrates the Ragers, a third thier Tacoma gang who's active in the drug trade.
During his time with the Gang Alex gets to know Jack Flack (go ganger contact), the liason between the ragers and the ancients
and John willows (dockworker contact) who helps the gang to storage facility's from time to time.
He gets close to the gang leader and is able to gather enough information about there activity's to put half the gang
behind bars for a lot of years. In his final report Alex makes sure Jack and John aren't mentioned.
The gang exactes its revenge by murdering Angela. And Alex starts hunting the gang members.
His personal vendetta against the ragers (who are of little to no concern to his superiors anymore) becomes a problem as
he doesn't realy follows procedures to get back at the gangers
Then there is crash 2.0 and all off Alex's SIN Data is lost. Lone Star uses this opportunity to dumb him.
When Alex comes home one night his mother and father have vanished. He goes to the lone star HQ where his access gets denied.
It becomes quickly clear to Alex that he's on his own from now on.
Lucky for him he still has Elvis and Elly as friends and they tell him the story about his supperiors using the opportunity
to get rid of Alex. Alex turns to sfinx to provide him with a new identity as Harry Eastwood, and starts a private detective
bureau from his parental house. Besides the classical follow my wife/husband jobs and some lost animals he hasn't got much work to do.
In his spare time he keeps searching for his parents, so far without any success.
Alex starts visiting the Aurora bar (bartender contact) more and more often and gets a bit of a alcohol habit.
