A grim tome of dark confectionary delights.
Look past the lies, and all the scary stuff that remains is the truth.

Gaunt's Ghosts Omnibus I:  The Founding.  One of the coolest series in the 40K universe.  I'm wanting more Shadowrun novels to come out again.  Anyword on if that's going to happen?

Details aren't readily available, but Jason has mentioned elsewhere that "some fiction" is in the works.

Also, +1 on your praise of Gaunt and his boys.  Abnett loses the feel of the 40k universe a little bit here and there, but he gets enough of it right, and what he changes is so often an improvement, that I don't much mind.  Major Elim Rawne ftw.

40K has some great fiction writers.  I love the Dark Angels books in the Horus Heresy series.

Reading The Subtle Knife by Pullman.  Read The Golden Compass right before that.

I read in Binges like an alcoholic. Right now I'm reading all the SR4 RPG books. I just finished, again, Jim Butchers Codex Alera and ALL the Dresden Files books. That was about a month's worth of reading. I do something to this effect every other month or so. I read a series then have a break, read another series ect.. My next series, which I'm locating all the books now, is all the Shadowrun novels, I only have 3 right now and want to get them all.
