Worm by Mark Bowden. It's all about the fight against the Conficker worm and is freakin' amazing.

Care to provide a brief summary?  I've seen these books on Amazon, but have never pulled the trigger...tend to be a little leery of translations...

Actually all the translations are quite good. The book deals with Bauto after the events of GITS 2. and concerns that he might be undergoing personality fragmentation and dissasociation like the Major, who is now Something Else, and part of his lifeline really is his dog that helps keep him sane.

I'll have to go back and read it again for a better synopsys. Also the three GITS Novels were pretty good too.
