Just got my box of old Battle tech Novels, "the sword and the Dagger" is a great book.

I too was not as impressed by Dance with the dragons, but still a good novel.

Still waiting to add to my SR novel collection, but sense we just got told by our land lord that he wants to sale the house we are in and we have 2 options: Buy or move at the end of our lease I hesitate to get more books at the moment (sense i have 10 boxes full of them now and my poor wife is at her wits end)

what about renting a cheap little self storage hole to put some stuff in?
it'd be there as a kind of cache for everything, so you can actually put it there before you need to move.
bit by bit too.

Was wondering if anyone here had read "Dead Dwarves Don't Dance" and/or "Dead Dwarves, Dirty Deeds" by Derek J. Canyon, and, if so, would be willing to share their opinions?

Thanks in advance,

AJC

Steven Erikson's "Malazan Books of the Fallen"

Currently on the fifth book out of ten and boy they just seem to get bigger and more intense. XD
Having access to Ares Technology isn't so bad, being in a room that's connected to the 'trix with holographic display throughout the whole room isn't bad either. Food, drinks whenever you want it. Over all not bad, but being unable to leave and with a Female Dragon? No Thanks! ~The Captive Man

Since I'm a complete newb to SR, I'm currently sifting though all the basic rule books; Core, Arsenal, Augmentation and the like, while trying to build a character to my liking.

Exciting! :D

I'm currently re-reading through my collection of SR1 and SR2 books for fun and profit.

Otherwise, I've been reading "100 Hair-Raising Little Horror Stories", a collection by Barnes & Noble books, Penguin Books' "H.P. Lovecraft: The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Stories" for the nth time.

Good times.

Finished reading William Gibson's Spook Country last night.  Good book.  If you want to see how to run a Mr. Johnson check out the Old Man.

I got about half way through that (I picked it up for 50 cents) and dropped it for a month (new job).  I started again last night and found I have no idea who any of the names are.  Guess I need to start over.

Might not be a bad idea.  Gibson tends to create a very detailed set of characters if you do not know who's who the book can get a mite confusing.
