Nothing has changed form the previous runs. Fast info (but can be costly) -> contacts, free info (but takes time to sort out from the junk) -> matrix.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Those of you that make data searches, please state the keywords and make rolls.
I am using limited extended tests for those with an interval of 15 minutes. (you have 5 rolls before you arrive)
If more than one of you datasearch on the same subject this can be  treated as teamwork

It is not possible to circle the facility but you may drive by the railroad track/fence.

The obvious things you've seen from the passing by:
  • There are railroad tracks running parallel to S Sheridan Blvd on a built up ridgeline, which blocks much of the view of the facility from the road. A 3 meter chain link fence, topped with barbed wire, is on the back slope of the ridge between the tracks and the building. The tracks and fence also bend around the northwest side of the facility. The fence continues to the shoreline, and makes a complete loop around the facility.
  • There are two breaks in the fence. The first is the underpass the goes under the tracks along S Sheridan Blvd. There is a sliding chain link gate along the base of the ridgeline.
  • The second break in the fence is a swinging gate in the fence on the northwest side of the property, allowing access to the complex of smaller buildings to the northwest.
  • The bare asphalt area between the buildings and the water seems to be used as an employee parking lot.
  • A guard shack sits under the underpass, manned by 1 guard. The guard is wearing a brown uniform armored jacket, and a matching baseball cap with a large gold eye insignia.
  • There is one other guard outside the fence that seems to be patrolling the external perimeter.

EDIT: breaks position changed to reflect the correct rotation of satelite picture

so as I understand I can get near at west and east sides without breaching the perimeter?
How many meters from the buildings is the fence on every side?
do we stop to the south of the facility?

p.s. I assume we arrived and will post in 15 min [IC] if not told otherwise

Well, RAW it is 1 minute if you search whole matrix...But Its up to GM ;)

The search for a single information is 1 minute, but when browsing for a more general info you need to sort out though hundreds if not thousands matrix nodes/files/pages. Most of them contain irrelevant info. Searching for something important takes time. Try to google something on microsoft - like what kind of deals they have currently in Redmond with a city magistrate.  The basic quesry returns 72 thousands of pages in under the second. But you need to filter out further to get something relevant and this is that refinement of queries that take time. The capabilities and speed of search engines over this 60 years have improved vastly but the amounts of information have increased as well.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

OK. So when we are on the place, Ill scan the area, first looking for all Active/Passive nodes

EW(4)+SPU(2)+Scan(5) (11d6.hits(5)=2)

Ill also try to locate the Guards node, even if it is in hiden...
EW(4)+SPU(2)+Scan(5) (11d6.hits(5)=2)
No way, tresshold is 4.

So ill change my scan for wide area looking for Hidden nodes
EW(4)+SPU(2)+Scan(5) Extended test, Threshold 15+(GM discretion, interval 1CT) (11d6.hits(5)=1, 11d6.hits(5)=3, 11d6.hits(5)=3, 11d6.hits(5)=4, 11d6.hits(5)=4, 11d6.hits(5)=2, 11d6.hits(5)=3, 11d6.hits(5)=3, 11d6.hits(5)=4, 11d6.hits(5)=4)

EW(4)+Scan(5) Extended test, Threshold 15+(GM discretion, interval 1CT) (9d6.hits(5)=3, 9d6.hits(5)=6, 9d6.hits(5)=1, 9d6.hits(5)=3, 9d6.hits(5)=5, 9d6.hits(5)=3, 9d6.hits(5)=3, 9d6.hits(5)=4, 9d6.hits(5)=4, 9d6.hits(5)=4)

Means 10CT = 36Hits

Ill wait for results. Then Ill roll Matrix perception (maybe with teamwork, if there are others capable?)

what's an SPU?
You don't need to roll to scan active/passive nodes - only hidden AFAIR

I've just had a discussion with Sichr,
Chrona, you know that you can make the basic searches first?
Like 30 minutes on each subject first, - that would give you the basic info, so you know if to drill further or no.
That way you won't be cut out for entire day.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Math SPU. Ware. It adds 2 dices to Electronic Warfare tests...and Maths :)
Wait for the quote:
Math SPU:   Tis cranial subprocessor unit (SPU) amplifes the user’s mathematical abilities by enhancing his   ability to   run mathematical   calculations as background   processes. As a side
beneft, the subprocessor may also function as a stopwatch, alarm   clock, and extremely accurate chronometer.   A math SPU adds a +2   dice   pool   modifer to all   tests   focused on the user’s mathemati-
cal abilities; as well as to any Electronic Warfare tests involving encoding or decoding.

Ah crap. MY chargen didnc cited that last sentence. Sorry for mistake, next time Ill use it just for the purpose (Encrypt/Decrypt)

JDA, just for the sake of practice and letting me see the dicepools you have, please make the rolls on watcher summoning (you should be able to summone one without the drain, but anyway) and please make the astral perception roll
