All rigth. I see that you don't want to meet the gang. That's all right. What do you do then?
Sorry for a small delay ;)

Looks like I will support Fractal on his Intel gathering, with the understanding, if he fails in his polite way, we try it my way after that, OK?
He is the Expert in social interactions after all.

My idea now:

In some way pass as Stuffer Shack offering a reward of "months greatest custumer" and make a call to Erik Fjordson, in the process getting his voice sample. Maybe going to his house to offer him a prize (that's a moment where we can kidnap him and interrogate if wanted...). If his voice sample and probably his Commlink adress, them I have all I need to pass myself as him, maybe even requesting info from the lesser employees as an evaluation of their work, or ordering tasks.

Do the others think of something else?

I will support it any way you like it, in this job, the disguise should be no problem, and i roll 9 dice on any soc task and can add edge if needed.

@Sen I take it the Chameleon suit would be able to imitate some sort of stuffer shacks clothing right? or do we have to call Tabby again?

Quote
Chameleon Suit: A full body suit made from ruthenium polymers
supported by a sensor suite that scans the surroundings and replicates
the images at the proper perspectives, providing the wearer with
chameleon abilities. Apply a –4 dice pool modifier to Perception Tests
to see the wearer. Also armored for additional protection.

With skin-link to control it without the sensor, or at least it's the idea.

Act II - delivery takeover
1. find the truck routes
2. stop / takeover vehicle (using gang as well?)
3. hide the loot/clear the truck

unnecessary, we could just easy could rob the stuffer shack, as it is just the delivery that comes every night it would not be that important. if we keep robbing it then maybe, but there should be a more effective way to stop them from coming, but if it's more from the loot, then I am up for a bank job  ;D

MAYBE ENGINE PARTS???

Hmm. That's not the way I would have normally allow it to work.
The suit plays with light not with the fabric. And it is smooth without pockets for example. Anyway it seems that I have already allowed it during your previous stunt so let's go ahead with that. you can use it. Just bear in mind that on closer inspection (less than few meters) this can be onarced. You'll get only two dives bonus for that.

the loot could be just an extra payment for you, with it's own risks attached.
anyway the truck on itselft is worth 40-60k nuyen, plus its cargo more or less the same (raw materials less, finished products more). this is the kind of money that can hurt and this are on top of the costs of halting production.

here my argument:
Quote
Second Skin Line: Th e Second Skin line provides protection,
comfort, and style for open-minded people. Th ese bodysuits
leave little to the imagination, since they consist of transparent or
opaque skintight ballistic polylatex and sculpted densiplast. Each
bodysuit must be custom-tailored for its wearer. The bodysuits are
also available with a transparent ruthenium polymer coating to
change the opaque parts of the suit instantly via the user’s PAN
or
to allow it to display signs and slogans (+1,000Ą).

Quote
Ruthenium Fibers

Ruthenium polymers undergo a color change with the application of a small voltaic charge. The charge alters the polymer's chemical composition, allowing it to shift between a wide spectrum of hues. Since these polymers are also very durable and can be applied in layers of less than about .1 micron thick, they can be put on virtually any surface without any appreciable loss of flexibility or function. This makes ruthenium polymers useful for chameleon cloaking technology.

A chameleon effect can be achieved by combining ruthenium polymers and imaging scanners. The scanners view the
surrounding environment and send the data through an imaging processor. The processed data is then fed to the ruthenium polymer surface so that the surface mimics the color and image of whatever is around it. At least four imaging scanners, strategically placed to receive full surround information, are required for the effect. More scanners give cleaner and more "correct" images. The imaging processors are quick enough to cloak a walking person, but they are unable to shift fast enough to cloak running people or moving vehicles.

To achieve a cloaking effect, the entire object must be covered with ruthenium. A metahuman can manage this by wearing a ruthenium-covered cloak or body suit. When activated, the target numbers needed to perceive such a cloaked object are increased by 4. For each extra scanner beyond four, add 1 to the final target number for detection.

The maximum modifier attainable is +12. Ruthenium systems are powered by gel packs with 10 hours' duration; new packs cost 50 nuyen. Ruthenium that covers a vehicle can be powered by the vehicle's power supply.

Radar, thermographic and ultrasonic systems are not affected by the ruthenium's cloaking effect. This means that dwarfs and trolls, ultrasound-using characters and vehicle sensors reduce the target number modifiers of the ruthenium by half, rounding down. Ruthenium is only effective on stationary or slow-moving targets (6 meters or less a Combat Turn). If a character or vehicle is moving faster, reduce the Perception modifier by 1 for each extra 2 meters/Turn. Exceptionally fast characters or vehicles will likely be more obvious (-2 Perception modifier), as the
ruthenium rapidly switches colors in an attempt to keep up with the landscape.

AS the secound skin is using just the coating to make it look like anything i want, added a description from http://denver.wikidot.com/info:chemical-compounds-information to a description of the fiber itself, but did not find it in any 4th ed book, so you are free to interpret it as you like,
GM has his power.

I don't think we will be able to sell a 18-wheeler easily, but the cargo is interesting.

Still, that's something to care during the next act.

Tonight, we need to squeeze info from Erik Fjordson. His voice is a "commodity" I want to help us during this mission, and he will know where the security console is. He also knows the security passcodes for anything in the facility, and can even give us some nice ideas about how to disrupt facility production; then, he just have a cigarette and forgets everything. By now, it's our best bet, I guess.

Fractal will be even wearing his best suit this time!  ;D

do you think that this truck is part of the plant?, then why does the car leave after he made the delivery?

I would say that it's a delivery firm, and putting it out of business is not our objective.  :P

as far as i can see we would just hinder one delivery, and there would be no monetary loses to RMD, except if they run out of parts and had to halt production, but as you said yourself, they keep stock for one day ahead at least. so no gain, or do you wanna block deliveries every day?

Kour, you can use the suit to look like gang colors, or stuffershack suit. You can paint whatever you like. The problem is that the real suit will have pockets, belts, other things, that will be painted on you (true with keeping all the light effect necessary for 3D perception).

The differnece is that when you want to be unnoticed, people see past you and omit small details (-4 to perception, when using the chanmelleon suit for invisibility). When they actually see you, and you move, they have higher chance for spotting the difference between normal suit and something you're wearing (-2 perception). That's not obvious to understand, and may give you another 3 seconds to react during their surpise (you can boost that effect with additional sensors along the above rules, just make half the rate you'll get for imitating clothes).
Sorry for a small delay ;)
