@Sent..: So...is there a possibility that it will be rainy night today???

Be my guest and make a roll 1d100 - 60% for rain. You may edge it if you want.
Sorry for a small delay ;)

So yes, I'm not content about how things developed.
yeah most of are not, but the planing is done, it will not take a month to interrogate 2 man, we can do it in 2 days.
so far we have done:
Hacking - Dead end, at least for now
Con - Not Working, reverted a disaster just by luck
Infiltration - Next on the list
Full assault - Worst for the last

[quote

That is not necessarily true:
Hacking - You've cracked the assembly node, but didn't really taken a look into the content (except fro the quick search on emails)

Quote
No one in particular is responsible that the planing took so ling, mostly the indecisiveness of the team as a whole is to blame.

Lessons learnt - next mission will have team leader or a VASTLY reduced number of players. I am guessing that three is enough.

Sorry for a small delay ;)

Yep the simple solution is the best, but we are not making complicated plans, we are gathering info for a simple plan, there is no point in going in if we do not have a clue where we have to go. i just need a target so i know the point a point be and can plot the rout from a to b without taking out more guards then necessary. Keeping Cursos and fractal safe will be a pain too, cuz i think their infiltration is next to none, comparing to me.

But you need a good hacker INSIDE the facility to hack security node. There is no way you could give them access save that you go in tap the bug into the server and stick the antennae to it.

That's exactly my thoughts about the CEO, but he might tell us the layout. hopefully
the radar works in real time, i can get the location of any guard in the radius of it, so it is a big help not only while preparing.
Not sure it is actual at the moment cuz Cursor punched trough the Data bomb, but if we need some hacking they might come in handy

This is a small facility 4 building 50 people excluding guards and truck drivers. Even if he doesn't know everyone by their wives names - this is still a medium sized company. CEO has to know a lot about it.

P.s. RL am am writing my Master degree in MicroBiology, that means I always have to do the research to make some statement to be true, so i might be inclined to do the Intel thing a bit more carefully then others, but I know what I need and I go for it, not a truck with supplies or the CEO, I just need someone to tell me the layout and where what is in the base so i can get in plant explosives disable their sec. and get out. You stealing a truck from them would be a good diversion, but it should never take priority.

banging the sec center isn't the goal - banging the assembly machinery would be (but for that it would be good to have the sec center disabled)

It is at least for me, to cover our tracks and reduce their defensive capabilities or even just to take their attention away from the machinery so no one gets killed while detonating the prod. line.

Done :)
I think I've responded to all.

if there is anything I've omitted that you want me comment upon, let me know.

Now. We've hopefully passed over that painfully long planning stage. The base for current events is 4 Karma for each of you. Sichr, Kour and Netz get additional 2 points of Karma for impressive activity.

I am grateful for the Karma, just do not think that it's fair, as me and Natz had to do the meet and the others had to wait and see. You could say hat Sichr has showed great activity too

the activity wasn't for the meeting with Erik only but for the combined IC & OOC activity
and I gave Sichr karma :)

Thanks.

Just saying, I agree with Sen. Taking their CEO was never my idea, but the facility will feel it as a heavy blow.
Solving the problem of having this guy "vanish". Full body search, take out all his electronic devices, Ryker should also take an astral look on him to see if he has any cyberware (or, if someone has any scanner, should do it, for us to disable; in last option, even my magnetosense may do). Secondly, he should be put inside an Astral barrier or something like that... Do Ryker  has a Magical Lodge? Or can he summon a spirit with Concealment? This way, we could prevent that the man will be found at least a little. It goes without saying that he needs to stay tied and , gagged, and blind-folded.

And then, again, we strike tonight. And if he does not appear again by the week, wouldn't it be strange? The guy receives a suspicious call, go to a meeting where he send his bodyguards off and then vanish... in the same night where the place where he works is assaulted... Something tells me we should plant false evidence that he is to blame for the assault.

As I said, internal sabotage...

Bioware is no problem. I don't think there's a piece of bioware that can be used for long distance communication or as a mean of finding someone.

EDIT: Ryker has a Force 6 Magical Lodge. Probably it would be the best place to hide Erik.

the scan i did was not only to check for tracking, but also to see if he has some surprises in store for us, like muscle augmentation, or other bioware who could take us by surprise just like we did him.

The bioware can be used for tracking - high level executives are usually subject rfid implanting (as Cursor could tell from one of the previous runs) that leave a matrix trail. But Erik doesn't have anything like that - seems that it is too small company for measures like that.

as for the other augmentation - the only thing you found was a datajack and control rig.

Riker's summoning Force 5 Spirit of Man with optional power Concealment -  Magic (5) + Summoning (3) + focus (2) -> 9d6.hits(5)=3
Drain Value = Force(5) -> 5d6.hits(5)=2 -> single task, 4S DV
Drain Resistance = Willpower(5) + Logic(4) -> 9d6.hits(5)=3 -> 1S damage taken

the single task is used for Concealment of the Erik. This will hold him hidden until sunrise.

@Sent: Our inability to take action is never your fault. Thanx for the karma, well Id stay in game even without it. For me, its cyberpunkers heaven :)
And with the action done, you may reconsider lowering the number of playyers in next missions, because with experiences and coordination the speed will improve. I mean, players needs to test their characters to see what they are capable of, and with the confidence it runs smoothly. At least I hope so :)

Now, sorry if Id been a bit harsh, Ive got a half year evaluation and there is always a little stress in things like that :)

P.S. And good luck with microbiology!!  ;D

Now...it is friday so Im leaving and Ill reply when I sober...or worse...when I return from the beer evening...oh hell, since we are all europeans, we may et some meeting sometimes :)
Im visiting Gütersloh in Germany atr least once a month, and it quite close to lands of Benelux :)
