I will go ahead and call for the spirit to help with the gaurd and I will use another service for confusion in the controll room. If we are indeed about to get into it, then thats rock and roll. Also, quick astral look to see what the ganger by the van is up to, has he left the area. I will cross my fingers and hope that the spirit is faster than the guard. At this time I'm concentrating on sustaining spells and watching the astral. I will be going out of town tonight and will not be able to post until late tommorrow. I will try to post once more today before I leave.

I think if he said to attack that and that, you as a spirit have to decide what skill to use.

You can set the bomb that way. But if the node crashes it will be rebooted from backup. Your databomb won't be there by then.

well, nothing I can do about it...killing sec boys would bring us cut down on payment...

And for the trip...Ive by some kind of miracle survived my first RL car crash...hehe, ive been flying with my Peugeot 306 for 10 meters in 110km/h, on the top we may have been 1 meter above the road... landed almost safely, just crashed front case a little, but we are alive and the car still works. Repairs would cost me the bottle and weekend working on it with a friend of mine... beautifull day :)

Man, what an experience... glad nothing grave happened. I had flied with a car twice, and it's one for the most frightening experiences I ever had...

that's as much as I have played it thus far.

There were two questions. And without looking at the card, I'll say this is gonna be first of them now ;)
Secondary. Taking off me some of the npc actions during fight is always welcome. Especially when they are on your side.

Ganger
- apply to the the door's maglock some kind of tool the looks a little bit like the pipe pumping stick (you  know rubber ending, wooden hold). The schock that is discharged immediately doesn't seem to have an effect.
The tools is also a car-theft specialized version of the maglock sequencer. Make an opposed roll of maglock rating against his sequencer roll 4d6.hits(5)=2.

Maglock: Arsenal says nothing about this, well I have Antitheft system 2 and device rating of the rover is 5
I think that should mean you need 2 net hits, and that the rating of the maglock is equal to devicer rating of the van.
Maglock rating(5) (5d6.hits(5)=1)
If he will open the doors, I use my 2.IP free action to jump in the rover

The maglock has been opened.
You're jumped-in to the rover, no need to do that again. The only problem is that you can be focuses on one combat.
I take that you logon to the security node.

Riker calls Spirit of Man with a task to assist Sam on its incursion (it's a spirit force 5, so he has Intuition 5, giving him higher than average reasoning - will see what it will do. sugestions welcome.

surprise roll: 7d6.hits(5)=0 no glitch, but considering that Sam would have a +6 to his roll, we can safely assume he is surprise
defense roll: no active defense but he has a Good cover(4 - he is sitting behind a desk) so 4d6.hits(5)=1 with a glitch

Damage Value: 6S + 9 -> 15S
Damage resistance: Body(4) + Half impact armor(3) -> 7d6.hits(5)=1 glitch that will negate his chances to resist on electricity damage.

that is 10S damage plus 4P overflow

Kour - having more than four hits means critical success. feel free to make an IC post - that was spectacular take down.
