If i wanted to make a shadowrunner that work lets say for Lone Star..or any other law enforcement how would i go about representing that in game.. i was thinking taking maybe the sinner neg qualitie / day job , of course buy most of my contacts in law enforcemnt and maybe a street snitch..is there any way to get myself a badge or something similar legally if its my background and my character works on the side as a shadowrunner both as an informant and an actual runner?

This one really comes down to your GM and how kosher they find the idea in the first place.  Being an actual active cop and a shadowrunner is going to (a) be quite a juggling act, and (b) give you a lot of leeway when the fertilizer hits the fan.

Yeah, but then the Blue Line gets drawn quite quickly.  :P

Also, if he's doing Shadowruns FOR Lone Star using some form of deniability (Fake SIN with alternate biometrics, maybe?), there's some 'Runs set up right then and there.

Another option...  Said 'Runner IS IA, going on Shadowruns to ferret out dirty cops and departments that are doing things that would embarrass the company (And, you know, maybe doing something illegal as well.).  Another possibility, Undercover work, like the character in the old "Lone Wolf" novel.

Characters running with Deep Cover could be working for ATF or any other alphabet soup group out there.  As long as they do have a specific goal the group put them under for.  Find a mole, get close to a Shadowrunner with info, get info on shadownet or blackmarket organization, etc.  Infernal Affairs was a movie where you can see Deep Cover running both ways really well.  The American remake is good but I prefer the original.

Oh the fun I could have as a GM if someone were to try this...
Why in the frag did they put ME in charge?

For undercover work, I'd suggest Runners Companion's "Deep Cover" (Page 97) and "Judas" (Page 105) Qualities.

That's not a quality when you're a Shadowrunner.  That's a certainty.   ;D
