After the failed thillseeker you probably wont wait to see if you get spirit cover though
-2 from firing at a small target to drop their dice pools to basically nothing.
On my side, I've got 4 dice from good cover and 10 dice worth of gymnastic dodge to keep the first round of bullets at bay.  After that, it's all hide and seek.

Not sure about the -2, just for balance sake

and you wont have 4 dice of good cover once you're in the room.
failing thrill seeker sort of sealed the deal on going in there

Taking on 10 unknown assailants isn't enough?  It's not combat monster; it's thrill seeker.  A 5bp quality.  I sure as hell am not going into that room when I can fight by hit and run.

Especially when the last time I rolled surprise against one of these dudes, you rolled 14 dice for him.  That's what, 7 reaction and 7 intuition?  These dudes are crazy.

Yeah, I know, it's not the lack of subdual damage I'm worried about, it's that I don't want to kill him with overflow ;)

Metagame: Their stats kind of freaked me out too; the one LJ took down was augmented, he was marked with an X. The ones Silk & Noise took down didn't have any standard ware and still got 11 dice initiative, so that means 5 and 6 natural on Rea and Int... or betaware/bioware. Pretty high level opposition either way.

Just to be sure: We're waiting to give others a chance to post while In-Game time has been frozen, right? Don't want LJ all of the sudden "losing his little patience"; this situation will be messed up enough already.

Also: Chrona, almost at 1k posts, make it count!

it's parked on the street already, just on the other corner, less then 1 Min away. parked it there to cut of his escape way, worst case scenario, if he manages to get into a car or something while blocking my fire  for example armoured car.
NE corner, can reverse out in front on the E side road or speed to the W side road as well as get to the Back door in no time.

If you com her when you get him, the car will be waiting.

and i think me staying put on the roof would do more then joining the assault, cutting their way off.

could you give me some clues how the map of the place looks in the way of streets, would it be possible to park Habu and the Sedan so that they could be moved to block their retreat way.

A spirit would be very helpful in the front room.  The gas won't take effect until the end of the 2nd CT.  Basic idea is to dose everyone and then bug out while it kicks in.  Having a giant water spirit thrashing through the room should help keep Joe from getting too much attention.



The problem is my low initiative, 1 IP shaman needs to get in either room before summoning the spirit (and probably taking P drain in the process)... that force 5 ward is seriously hampering me. He's much more likely to go into the VIP room behind the ladies rather than follow a psychotic kiddie gnome into a dark dancehall full of chromed thugs, especially when he presents a much larger and choice target than her. :P

2 doors is stage entrance/waiting room
single door was where matrix equipment was kept, now with wireless its converted to another waiting room for performers

The club is its own block, for what I could get from the IC map... The backside of the club seems to have the same color as the sidewalk, so I figured the orange part to be parking lot or something... no? It's just an alley behind the club and then a building?

But what's the "plan" now?
I was first thinking:
3 seconds: VIP room 4 enemies: door opens, bang bang bang bang bang bang stun stun
6 seconds: VIP room now "safe": grab target, RUN!
9 seconds: East Hallway: running and dragging
+/-12 seconds: Room #13 with car parked in it: toss package in car, get in car, drive!
Above plan could've worked without the 10+ even knowing it had happened.

Changing that last step with "hold out for 50 seconds waiting for a car, while being assaulted by 10+ professionals with SMGs"... would prefer not doing that, which is why I was asking for Andromeda's car.

But it doesn't look like that plan's going to happen; so what do you guys want to do?

if you look on the map the Car is parked above room 8, so it's around double your running distance with a body on the shoulder, i think i can get the car to the backdoor faster then you can get there, if you give the heads up the moment you have him. 

It may be that my understanding of English is a bit flawed as I am not native speaker, but 50 sec for me would be a minute give or take,
but less then one min would be anything from 0 to 59.9999999999999 sec.

the final verdict on distances, speed, acceleration is in the hand of the GM, but I am confident that the Car can outrun Silk carrieing a guy on the shoulder any time.  :P

I feel like everyone's in position.  An indication of the size and shape of the ward on the map would be nice though.
Has Silk potentially informed LJ about the monowire traps so she doesn't run into them if/when things go wrong?

Other than these concerns, I'd be happy to see Silk try her hand at getting the drop on the target.
