Smiting's so stupid without knowing what it was for... and I warned you about that post!

@Red: Find hidden node, if I'm not mistaken, is an Elec. Warfare + Scan test, threshold 4...

Why the admin acount? If you get caught, they'll all be on full alert! Well, at least you'll have forced things to get moving. Of course if we can't get the VIP door open, we're in trouble...

Hank can punch that door off its hinges with no problem.  Melee attacks do straight DV to barriers.

As to smiting, "I don't expect people to agree with everything I say; that'd require them to be as smart as I am." (It's just Stahlseele pissing on the regs, most likely.)

... trigger finger itching ...
Surprise by kicking in the door then opening fire; yeeehaaw, a lot more cinematic than a hacker flipping a mental switch!

A bit funny with a dwarf doing the kicking though ;)
"With a loud crash, the door suddenly flies out of its hinges. Everyone turns to look at the door to see... noone standing there. A few seconds later an annoyed dwarf shouts 'look down, you idiots!'"

Oh shoot your right, oh well its the same dice pool at least. Here is the roll.

10d6.hits(5)=4

I went for admin as most DJ would be using there personal com to do a show and would just subscribe to the house node, the house node would then give control of the lights and sound peripheral nodes to that com and he could do his gig. Its like the way traveling road shows are done today. Where the house has a dimmer box that actually controls the lights and it also has the wiring for sound built into the theatre. the show comes in and either borrows a house board or brings there own travelling sound and light boards to hook to the existing system. Or at least that is the way it is done in every theatre I have ever been in. techniques don't change that much jus the technology behind them so I figured that this would be the way it was done in the future. Most people that I have ran with have all coms restricted to everything requires admin so I went for that not wanting to bog the game down. or at least that is my thoughts. Some GMs allow you to go in and check out the node and then you can make subsequent exploits to thread up your access level adding to the previous roll to get in in the first place. others do not and require you to redo the roll each time, so going it wouldn't matter if I needed Admin I was taking the risk either way, so I just decided to go for it. Plus I was tired and it was late, so my head wasn't screw on tight. :) especially now that I'm thinking clearer I could have just got basic acess and crashed the node in cybercombat. :)

Ah, the admin hack is on the DJ node, not the one you're already on...
Really seem to be misunderstanding a lot of things lately, need more sleep so badly :(

Its probably my fault I tend to not be able to express myself in written media very well. :)

Mental Note: Breathing in boxes weirds out runners.

The box is about 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 meters

And it didn't show up on the UWB scanners? Or radar for that matter.
