Andromeda and LJ never hid that they are taking the guns,  and there are really no definite plan what to do with them so they are just sitting in the armoury and waiting for me to inspect them remove tracking chip. a skill in weapon maintenance.

Yep, but security tags are hardened against tag erasers.  Though sec tags are 30 yen a piece and large enough to be found without too much trouble (about the size of a grain of rice.)

If they were regular or stealth tags, the tag eraser should have knocked them out.
