Found lip reading software!
It's a common use program, so our tech guy(s) should be able to buy a R6 version of it for 600Y, avail 0 (or buy it with Optimization 1 or 2 for an extra 100/200Y, makes it avail 1 or 2, so still easy as hell to get and it can run at its full rating).

For the start (and until Space get paid, so he can buy it probably), Space can use his knowledge skill about PTP networks to get a free version, maybe with lesser rating, but should be enough for the start and he can get it right now. He could started the download when he was still sitting on the street outside the safe house.

Is there an other way to either get lip reading or vibration scanning in the VR footage? Space could cut out just the mouths of each person and send it to one of the group's fixer (probably the one with the highest loyalty) to find us a lip reader.

I thought we were beginning the next run...  that's the only reason I went to see Joe (also the reason for the 500 nuyen worth of nanopaste disguise that the dumb troll receptionist saw right through.)  Salt is hardly worth the time.
