I was thinking about what we do know really happened: the turret did change to the high-tech thing it's now, and the mercs did close a deal. So like, a mass influence spell and some machine spirit combined with shape metal spells? But is that possible/plausible enough?

Just guns.  Links can be problematic.  Can't turn them off without a biometric key, things like that.  Besides, they had some bottom of the line guns; their links were probably more of the same.

If they head towards the safehouse after they're done with CJ, it should probably only take about half an hour or so; shouldn't be a problem, right? Downtown can wait that long. Would probably be a good idea to watch the safehouse from a safe distance.

For the ID tags in the guns and turrets: Wireless Negating Wallpaper around of Habu's Armory or a Faraday Cage in the Coffin-Bed? Build-In during downtime?

@Chrona: Can you post the states of the safe house nexus + its running programs? Would be nice, if Space needs some place to run his agent and so.
