As Noise leaps forward towards one of the men, Silk aims for a split second and fires off a shot straight into the second man's heart. Head shots tend to be so messy, and she didn't feel a need to run around with a partner covered in blood and brain tissue.

Edit: Wait, aim for vulnerability is a free action; so the second shot, should it be required, is just a normal shot. If required, will roll again, but I don't think it matters.

Looking at the two corpses at her feet, she motioned to Noise to remain quiet. No one had heard the previous gunfire, but maybe this time it had been noticed. If so, she hoped it would be mistaken for her own execution. Silk fired off another UWB pulse, with some luck it would show her a clear northern hallway and the guards in the south remaining there, guarding the exit.

Sure would be a lot better than ending up pinned on the other side of the building when drek hits the fan.

The second man went down after the first shot, he looked like he ran into a brick wall. His cyberarm gropes for his friend, pulling him off Noises's knife but ultimately it clangs on the floor as they die in a heap.

She nods again to Silk. "Think we have to hurry. Little one about to make mess."

With that she slips into the kitchen through the rear door, looking through the door's little circle windows first to make sure the way is clear.
