Silk shook her head lightly at the midget's comment and snorted in disapproval.
How the hell is a person to be taken as a serious professional with someone like that around her?
The petite blonde had seemed capable and reasonably professional inside the club; sure, she'd taken a pretty big risk in engaging the guards in the main hall but in the end it had all worked out pretty well. Why she felt the need to act like this when meeting an employer, Silk couldn't imagine, any number of reasons seemed to fit. What was certain was that it really got under her skin.

Still Waters methodically, clinically watches the man drown. He lets his Sight drift astrally to scrutinize the elemental and leans against the wall.

"A bonus for the Redmond delivery sounds good, count me in."

He looks over at Noise, holding up his comm. "You can forward my share from that certified to my account."

He smiles at the business offer, "We do a standard rate of 1000 nuyen per body, variable based on blood type, damage, etc, plus 10% retail value of any 'ware we salvage."
Ater hearing about the Body looting businesses she remembered an earlier plan of LJ, but as she was not sure LJ had proposed it to other team members she send a private message.
S@LJ >You still interested, could provide you with the wheels to transport them as promised, but nothing more.<

After that she turned back to the Conversation at hand
"Consider me part of the Delivery team if you need I can even take you there, but I think we came on our own so some of us could still have our own set of wheels and a group of Vehicles would attract attention. As well as a new, valuable or big Car would, so if someone has a vehicle that would be suited for the Barrens, at least as far as any Vehicle can be called that there."
She did not propose using her Sedan as she still waited for LJ to respond, but in worst case she could take some of them in Habu, but just some.
Speak up people give me a way out of this.

Comm: "I'm kind of 'between vehicles' at the moment. My previous one got totalled a couple of weeks ago. Not that I would mind accepting a lift from a more skilled driver while on the job even if I did have a decent car at my disposal. So if anyone's offering..."

She turned her attention to the other body lying there, the unconscious "Corland Ragley". "Did you need that one taken care of too?"

"No, our doctors are gonna take a look at him, then it's up to my bosses. Just Carter will be the delivery. It's an old warehouse deep in the open plains of the barrens, one of the only buildings still standing there in one piece, it's a Z-zone, naturally but signal reception is good. It's near a feral area but if you've hit that you've gone too far." He sits on the desk's corner, waving his hand. "It's the 162's turf but as you can imagine, anyone on my business is safe. If you're really worried about your cars in the barrens I can try to fish something up within an hour or two."

<<@Andromeda: An organ harvested is a life saved.  They do give with one hand, even as they take away.  But, no.  The club is too hot now.  With the jamming gone, one of the people in the freezers or a curious cluber will have managed to alert the police.  We likely have only minutes to escape the resulting dragnet.  Time is not on our side.  If we can't use extraterritoriality to avoid the law, deep Redmond is our second best bet.>>

"Waiting here for two hours is silly.  There's cars everywhere!  We can pluck one from the trees along the way!  Or we could just wait five minutes and police cars will be falling out of the sky to see us.  We might be able to get ride in one of those, but they don't always go where you want them to."

Still Waters flicks up his comm's AR textboard, image-linked eye movements firing rapidly through a series of messages to various people.

text to team - "I need a ride too. Will provide magical overwatch in return."

second text to team a few seconds later - "We need to move. KE is enroute."

Joe grabbed the dead man's knees and started to pull him out the office door.  After a few steps she stopped and stood upright, changing her demeanor. "I think he crapped himself when he died.  Someone help me get him in the back so we can strip him and wash him.  I don't mind being locked in a small space with a corpse for hours, but nostalgia only excuses so much unpleasantness."

<<@team: Let's make sure to search this guy's pockets.  That comm of his probably shows us as his next-to-last call.  Also, Noise, are you bleeding?  Like, a trail of blood all the way here?  You really ought-ta patch that up.>>

"Don't worry," Joe taps at his 'link and two doctors come in for the body, Creepy Joe hops off the table and fishes out carter's fairlight caliban. "I got people used to it. Take the 'link with you, my friend in the Barrens knows a couple hacks."

Noise gives Little Joe a confused look.  "The fuck you talk about?"  She says aloud even though Joe had sent the message over commlink.  She looks down to see if she'd trailed some blood behind her from one of the guards she'd taken out or something. Even if she had stepped in their blood the rain outside would have gotten rid of anything on her shoes. She flicked a wet shoe at the short 'girl' anyways, just to make sure it was only dirty rain water that came flying off.

Satisfied with that she looks to the others. "I have car with room for one more."

Comm: "So what do we do with the body in the trunk? We sell him here and now or keep him with us? But I've got this feeling that the next day or two might not be the ideal moment to show up here with a body in your trunk. Or we ask the friendly doctor here if he's willing to keep him sedated for a while, there should be plenty of anesthetics here."

Getting up, a dull pain flared up inside Silk's thigh. In a reflex she used her arm to lean on her chair for support and was reminded of the jolt of electricity she'd taken there too. The stimulants and sitting still had almost made her forget. Hoping Creepy Joe would offer the clinic's help in patching her up but not ready to ask for his direct assistance, she asked "Hank, would you mind taking a look at my arm and leg in the car? It's only superficial, but that doesn't make it any less bothersome."

"Show them through to the OR, I doubt it'll take Hank long to patch them up. Joe offers the 'link to the first taker.

"Please, this way." The doctors will show anyone going through a staging room and into a sterile OR.
Quote
As well as the usual bonuses, the OR counts as facility level equipment due to expensive and "microsized" equipment.

Noise passes on the opportunity to get her bruises looked at, and instead begins dishing out everyone's shares from the certified credstick.  (6333 each. Noise holds onto the surplus 2 nuyen just 'cause)
