Korbin: 12:30 PM

After trying several times in the morning and checking around on the matrix for either Operator or Muzzle V. and finding nothing in the public databases, you finally get a hold of Allen, as he picks up the phone he looks tired, as if he had just gotten out of bed. "Korbin! How's it going? You on for a quest later this week?"
Maybe, but how are you doing? Did I wake you you?

Allen scratches his chest a bit, "Naw, I was needing to get up anyway, I was up late in the meta planes last night, but everythings going well. Hey that reminds me, I hope you don't mind, a friend of mime was looking for some people for a job, did he get a hold of you?"

That is why I called. Some guy by the name Muzzle V. contacted me this morning. I was looking for the skinny on him and friend of his named Operator?

Slip glaces back at the orc on the corner, (Visual perception, street gangs knowledge .(12d6.hits(5) 4 hits, 8d6.hits(5) 2 hits) and calls back, "Sorry little boy I'm busy, so you'll just have to deliver it to yourselves." before jogging across the street and then entering into the Independent Information Network building. She takes a moment walking to the front desk to pull out the courier tube and pass it along to the cheerful looking woman at the front desk. "Hello! Welcome to the IIN building how can I help you?" Slip returns the smile "Delivery for O'Shaughnessy, to go out tonight at 6." the receptionist takes the tube and scan's it into the system. A delivery notification goes out to the courier's express home node. The woman checks her AR display and looks back at Slip pleasantly. "Thank You. Is there anything else I can help with today?" Slip looks around the lobby then back at the receptionist with a worried look, "Yes could you direct me to another exit? I think someone might have followed me here and if I could go out a side exit I'd appreciate it." The receptionist Points toward another door on the opposite side of the lobby with a smile. "Thanks, have a good day!" Slip heads out of the door and takes off running toward a nearby fire escape and makes her way to the roof, and sends rattles out a message back to shaker. Awesome, I know Operator, I'll hit him up for the extra info. You got any free time later this month? I miss you... Message sent, She heads home to get her gear ready for the night, contact Operator for details on the meet, look over the club's matrix info, clean up, and clear her mind before leaving.

(OOC: Slip will bring, wearing on her person: Actioneer business clothes (5/3), Leather jacket (2/2), Defiance EX Shocker (under the jacket as it's legal to own and carry, just being subtle.) contacts, earbuds, certified Credstick worth 1,000, commlink, and smart pack. In the smart pack: The infiltrator suit and it parts, (shock) gecko gloves, toolkit, maglock passkey R4, sequencer R4, autopicker R6, flashlights, medkit R6, nanopaste (1 small container), laes`perfume, taser ammo 6 clips (24 shots).

Around :1700 (5:00 pm) Slip Calls a cab to head into to downtown, which should give her plenty of time to arrive for the meet and have a nice dinner at bosco's before hand. (OOC: -40¥ for the meal. and -33¥ for cab ride from Everett.starting nuyen (3d6=10)x50=500 so 427¥ is left over now.

Slip, The gang is known as the Bloody Screamers. a small gang that has stood the test of time due to there connections to the ork underground. the information given to Korbin (Triggvi) is readily available to all, with an easy data search. Let me know if you dig deeper.

The Orc Shoots you a dirty look as you speed off towards the building you hear the shoots as they start to pursue but as you enter the building you glance back to see them giving up there chase. Around 3:00 Shaker sends a text. Yea, sorry to outsource you like that but runs are coming in slow this month and I knew you could probably use the workout. I should be free we should spar, been a while, feel I'm getting rusty, but I still should be able to whip you. :)

Allan smiles a bit, "Yea, I should have given you the heads up but it was a rough night and it slipped my mind. Operator is not a name I am familiar with, but if Muzzel's called him in it is sure he's a pro. Muzzel has a big thing about representing his honor and being respectable. I meet him about 3 years ago, real scary guy, but he is someone I feel I can trust. He has been fixing for some time now, rumor has it he is ex military. Possibly some sort of sniper, that is if you put stock in rumors. All in all though he is not one to cross but he's honest for a Fixer. He's real big on honor. More than likely this pre-meet is to see if you would represent him well enough to send on a run. Operator's probably the guy you got to impress to get the gig. Don't know if your interested in that sort of thing but he did ask if I knew someone who could find people easily and I thought of you right away.

Alan sets back from the camera he is using to talk with you. "Wish I did Friend, but he's completely unknown to me. You could check with some of the old brotherhood to see if they might know him. I could also call Muzzle and see if he will give me any info. It might be a bit touchy, however, since this seems to be one of Muzzle's runners.

Korbin will arrive 2 hours before the meet and sit in the common area of the alabaster maiden. He will be looking over everyone that comes in the door, both physically and astrally. He will be wearing a suit with under armor and lined coat. He will be armed with his Shock Gloves and Taser in concealable holster. He will be going in as one of his fake IDs. Oliver Booth PI from Everett.

He is looking for people that are out of place there, either by aura, smell, sight or hearing.

"OCC Assensing is 14 dice, Smell 18 dice, Vision 20 dice, and Hearing 18dice. He has multitasking, eidetic sense memory as well."

Jace, 2:00 PM -- using Tweedle-Dum in passive, Tweedle-Dee in hidden

What the hell..... where the fuck am I, Jace wondered as he rolled over and looked at the ceiling.  "You know," he said to no one, "we've got to stop meeting like this."  Pulling out his commlink, he checked for his current location.  Everett....

Looking around, Jace was able to piece a few things together.  There was more trash around than one person could probably produce in one evening, but not enough to be a massive party.  A private affair of some kind, perhaps?  He appeared to be in an apartment; one bedroom, a bath.  Kitchen, dining, living rooms.  Neutrally beige paint job with some boring artwork on the walls.  Potted plants.  Yup, everything seemed pretty normal except for the no memory thing.  Turning back to his commlink, Jace checked for any recordings of what went down.  Nothing:  Either I didn't record, I did and I removed them, or someone else removed them for me.  Access log shows no suspicious activity...

And then, it hit him.  He'd seen the ashtray before but thought nothing of it.  Stepping back over to the coffee table he grabbed a butt and carefully sniffed it .... Fucking Laés.  Fuckers dosed me.  Whoever they were.

Jace took one more look around, grabbed his stuff and hightailed it out of there.  Finding his bike out front, he hopped on, turned himself south toward Renton and started the long drive home hoping there'd be something there to remind him of whatever it was he just got himself into......

Quote
@Red:  I specifically started Jace later in the day so work him in when you can based on my lateness due to extended road travel.  I'll work out colors later.  I've got to keep cleaning at the moment :(

Everett, Monday May 9, 2:05 PM
As you get onto your bike and start to head off into the street a text comes in from Jax, "Hey, Jace just got the word on a job from an old friend of mine, You interested? If so you need to hightail it to the Alabaster maiden at 7:00, Reservations under Kevin Swanson. The man you are meeting is called Operator I tried checking him out but it as if the guy just appeared from nowhere. Could be a new ID, word from my contact is that he is picking a crew for a team and needs matrix backup. The friend I got the info from is solid though so it might be worth checking it out. Oh and by the way, have you seen the source code I was working on yesterday, I seem to have misplaced the file?"

Alabaster Maiden: Monday, May 9, 5:00
Korbin arrives at the Maiden as the rain starts to let up. The sky is still cloudy but it looks like it will be a clear night. at this hour many wagslaves are still commuting home from work and there are no club-goers in the queue outside. The statue of an woman greats you as you walk up to the door. you can't help but notice how lifelike she seems. At this time a single bouncer, Human, is standing waiting for the night to bring something a bit more exciting than it currently is. Your perception slips to the astral and not only doe the statue itself seem to resonate with magic but so does the bouncer. Its weaker than you probably barely even awakened but it is unmistakeably there. His aura shifts between boredom and anticipation. As you walk up he looks at you and draws himself in front of the door. "Can I help you sir?" you tell him that you have a reservation under Kevin Swanson for 7 and though he seems surprised that you are so early he stands aside. "Your room won't be available till later would you like me to have someone ring you on your com when its ready?" after affirming his request you are allowed inside. The club is every bit as upscale as its matrix host suggested. Not many dancers are here at this time but the club has already started it holoprojectors piping light from every direction of the club. Swirling colors vibrate and move to the beat of the latest in club music. You find a seat on the lower level with a good view of the door. To watch as people arrive. As people continue to stream in you notice that most seem like this place was made for them. They great others as if they have known them forever. even the ones that seem a bit out of place tend to smile at those around them and strike up a conversation of some alcoholic refreshments.

Quote
Alabaster Maiden: Monday May 9th, 6:13 PM

Operator arrives and the rain has completely stopped by now. Several people are waiting in line to get a chance to come into the club, but you have a reservation so you move to the front and look at one of the two guards to let you in. He does so without any trouble but you happen to notice that he is not unarmed, a taser is tucked into a concealed holster inside his jacket. As you enter the doors a small light on the side of the wall turns a bright red color and the man inside the door asks if you have a permit to carry in Seattle. You flash him your license and he steps back allowing you to enter as you do so he tells you that your room will be ready shortly and if you would wait that he will get someone to escort you upstairs.

This one perks Korbin's attention, this one has a purpose and it has nothing to do with this club. He waits just outside the main room and soon after a member of the waitstaff escorts him up the stair case to the right of the entry way. At the same time a small ARO in the right-hand corner of your field of vision lets you know that the room for Kevin Swanson is ready. A map is included in the message that lights the way in ARO on the floor in front of you.

Operator goes upstairs and down a narrow corridor past several doors to a room on the left-hand side of the hallway. The waiter opens the door "Another member of your party has already arrived and a message was sent to him to meet you up here. As your other guests arrive I'll send them up to you. The white noise generator is on the wall here next to the door and if you want to listen in on the dance floor you'll find the controls next to the view window over there." As he talks he points the controls out as if he was doing it by route. "If you need anything, please just subscribe to the house node and we will bring you what you want. Have a nice visit to the Alabaster Maiden, sir." As he enters the room a ARO appeared of a text message from Muzzle. I tried to find who i could but pickings are slim. you've got 4 others on the roster besides yourself only one seems to be someone that may not make the cut. Your decision, but I will try and get you others if you need them. The first is a courier by the name of slip, good credentials came highly recommended. The second is a detective, I think his skill set will come in handy, The next is an Ork by the name of Hammer. This is the one I am warning you about, looked for better muscle but he was all I could find, let me know if he doesn't pan out. Last but not least is a bit of matrix backup. It took me a bit to track him down so he may be late, no fault of his though. Shoot me a message when you are done and I will get you the details on the meet. If you wan tot know sooner I will get them to you when requested.

Alabaster Maiden: Monday May 9th, 6:54 PM

Slip rounds the corner to 12th Avenue to see the Club up a head. a small crowed is gathered outside the doors waiting to get inside past the two guards that are keeping them in order. An elven woman is standing next to the statue of a woman cast in alabaster while her husband takes a picture of the scene with his comlink. You skip a head of the line and as you give the name of the reservation you are let inside and escorted up stairs to the rest of the party.

Korbin notices the second person being escorted up stairs and other than them no one else. its getting close to the meeting time and as Korbin starts to get up a bright red light on the wall shines. The man standing in the doorway doesn't fit the usual club fair for this joint even though he is wearing a tie. His clothes seem like something that was bought from a second hand store and the tie defiantly looks like a clip on. The guard at the door is asking him to hand over his gun or he will be forced to call the police. "Sir just check the weapon at the door and we will escort you to your party, we don't allow illegal weaponry on the premises." The Ork looks agitated. "I am here for a meeting with Mr. Swanson, and I don't check my gun nowhere." the guard look resolute in his stand. "Check the weapon and you can enter otherwise you loos out on your little meeting. there's no exceptions to the rule. No permit to carry. you don't get to carry. period. If I have to ask you again, I do so while my boss calls Knight Errant. Are we understanding each other." The Ork steps back as if contemplating his next move. He then quickly pulls his gun, a Ares predator IV, The guards go for there tasers but before they can get to them the Ork spins the pistol around and hands it toward the guard he was talking to. The guards relax and the main one takes the weapon as the Ork steps forward. "If anything happens to that, and I will hold you personally responsible." with that the guard calls for a waiter to escort the Ork upstairs.

After the Ork is escorted up I will follow them up to the Swanson room. Korbin (Oliver Booth) switches his comlink to hidden as he enters the room. In to the room walks a 5'11 good looking white male human with sandy blond hair and green eyes wearing a suit under what looks like a lined coat and pair of glasses with his hat in his left hand and smile on his face. Hi, my name is Oliver Booth PI for the moment. I assume you must be Operator looking across the table. I was invited to this little shin dig by Muzzle. Korbin(Oliver Booth PI) holds out his hand to shake and greet everyone present.

Taking Muzzle's earlier advice, Operator had double-checked his 'link to ensure that his licenses were in order. He thanked the guard, biding his time until the waiter brought him to the VIP room and described its amenities. The waiter was also met with the same type of quiet respect - native English speaking with a subdued accent hinting at his heritage. "Thank you, I will enjoy my time here."

Mostly since it's the promise of some extra work, and to see if a few old ghosts can finally rest..

Operator seated himself near the viewing window, looking through the glass at the dance floor below. He folded his hands, thinking about the last two individuals mentioned in Muzzle's message - an ork named Hammer, and a Matrix specialist. Those were the main wildcards, but there was no reason to mull over them until they arrived.

<@Muzzle V.>Silk and I are chummers, that's no problem at all. I am cautiously optimistic for the detective, as that implies a degree of formal training and an attention to detail even I may miss. You shall hear from me as soon as I've spoken with everyone.

Mere seconds later, Operator turned to the door in time to see the forms of the ork and Mr. Booth, presuming the tall Caucasian human male to be the detective. The black-haired, well groomed Asian man was not disappointed by the introduction and returned Booth's handshake firmly. He looked to the detective first, then to the Ork, his gaze unflinching and his voice laden with crisp, fluent English. "Mr. Booth and Hammer, is it? Welcome. I am Mamoru Yamamoto, or Operator if you prefer. Muzzle gave you the invitations for our meeting here tonight, and I am currently expecting two other guests. The purpose of our meet here is to learn about one another and build the foundations of trust."

Quote
Operator's taking a good hard look at both of them, while trying to be warm and cordial. He knows they have to impress him, and doesn't immediately seem to be trying to be a dick. Operator's paying close attention to their personal hygeine habits, any concealed weapons or other telltale signs of gear. It's his first read on both fellows.

"OCC:Operators 3 successes would show he is wearing shock gloves, but comes close (-3 conceal) to seeing his Taser in his concealed holster under his Lined Coat."

Korbin(Oliver) does a quick Visual  once over Operator, Hammer, Silk and the Ork. Looking for concealed items.
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3019976/
Roll for Operator is 8 successes
Roll for Hammer is 6 Successes
Roll for the Ork is 8 successes
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3019978/
Roll For Silk is 7 Successes (I think he even has her exact measurements)

General Charm test- take it how ever you want.

3 successes

Operator is concealing a compact model Walther Secura, a weapon popular with undercover officers and others who favor discretion over ammo capacity.

"You are correct, Mr. Booth. If trust is too strong a word, I am willing to settle for mutual understanding." A small grin crossed his face as Slip was escorted inside their VIP room. "Good evening, Slip. How's your biz?"
