B.B. climbed up behind Slip and grabbed a hold of her belt loops.  "Sorry.  Umm, hi!  I'm B.B. your new hacker.  How do you want to handle Kiko's?  If you've got a good ID, I could just put you us on her guest list.  That'll get us to her floor at least.  Shouldn't be too hard from there, probably.  I hope."

I've got contacts, I should use them.  ;D  Calling Mark Hans.

Operator lifted his visor, cracking a grin at Nina as he started up the bike. "I ought to get an extra helmet if I'm going to be giving out all these rides. Maybe a car instead."  Behind the otherwise genuine smile, there was a tangible weariness in his eyes. He didn't want his thoughts to linger on the Yakuza or the fact he was looking to save a girl who made a baker's dozen of enemies in the Seattle underworld.

It was a long shot, but there was at least one man Operator knew who might have the connections. If not to Kiku herself, he might know a friend, or a friend of a friend, and so on. While the crotch rocket hummed underneath him and Nina, he dialed up the chief producer's office at Supernova Simsense Entertainment.

Hell, it's worth trying. At the least, Mark should know that I'm still breathing.

Slip looks over her shoulder at the Gnome. "Name's Slip, it's nice to meet you B.B. I'm glad you were available on such short notice. I've got a solid SIN if you think that'll work. if it doesn't, don't worry too much. I'm pretty good at finding my own doors." Slip pulls up the AR blue prints and sends them to B.B. for him to check out, then starts the bike up and programs her GPS to find a parking ramp near kiku's apartment and starts to follow the route. "I figure this is a pretty good start if plan A doesn't work out for us. We've got a bit of a drive till we'll be close to where we want to be, so to pass the time want to fill me in on what else you can do? I don't mean to pry but I like knowing what the people I'm depending on can do."

"I was a saboteur for the California resistance movement.  Sneaking, climbing, running, shooting, fighting, running, cracking locks, more running, and breaking military code, that's what I cut my teeth on.  These days, though, I mostly just hang out and do whatever.  How about yourself?"

Brian was already working through AR sites to find the public node for Kiku's building so that he could kick the digital door in.

"Sounds like you've had a hard life. As for me, I grew up in Seattle. Learned how to free run in my teens and been doing it ever since. Survived the night of rage, and the second crash and spent most of my life trying to help metahumans like ourselves. I've been working with the underground in Seattle for decades now, but shortly after the second crash I started running. After the things I've seen over the last 50 years there's no way I could buy into a comfy wage slave job, and I could never give up the freedom this life offers. As for my skills, I specialize in getting around without being noticed. I'm a practiced fighter with my hands and a few guns, but I prefer to not take lives unless it's necessary. Don't get me wrong, I'll kill if i have to, but it's not something I approach lightly."

OOC: Slip will take them to a parking ramp in the area so we can set up before going inside Kiku's apartment.

"Yikes!  You elf folk always freak me out.  Never know when I'm running with a senior citizen until you start with the VITAS stories.  Good to hear you're not heavy on the trigger.  My philosophy on violence isn't too far from that of a surgeon.  Sometimes a purposed act of violence is necessary to remove or repair something which can't otherwise be resolved.  You can't reason with cancer."

@ team
Korbin looks a bit off for a second as you all exit the bar. Hey I just got a call from a contact I put a feeler out to about Kiku. looks like he has some information for me and wishes to meet. I'll catch up to you all latter. Korbin walks off, leaving the team behind.

Ya, I could check it for you, is she skipping on a bill? Wow, looks like you have had a celebrity in you clinic. Vice thinks this is an ID used by a daughter of a local Yakuza boss. They tailed her to the airport and found her registered to that name. Seems she flew to Denver recently Vice informed Vice in the UCAS in Denver but she flew into the CAS section and thus off our radar. I wouldn't expect to see your money any time soon. Sorry, Hwo are things beside that?

<@Mark Hans> "Doing well so far, my friend. I'm still sorting out a couple of personal matters in the city, and there's one busy Asian lady from the CAS that I need to find. If you have seen a Yu Jin or know anyone who's had some contact with her, I would gladly welcome assistance."

Operator revved his bicycle, pulling out into the street. "I'll take her anywhere she wants me to go. Today, I'm just the driver."

<@Mark Hans> "Yu Jin travels frequently and lives within the metropex, so my first suspicion is to look at the airport. I have a photo but I don't believe it's current. She's a bit paranoid, and personally if I was worried about being identified visually then I'd pay for cosmetic surgery."

true, true. or at the very least nano-paste. I'll see what I can find out, could take a bit but I'll put out the feelers. I have a guy in customs at the Ariport, I'll give him a call as well and see what comes up.

Down the block from Kiko's, Brian motioned for Slip to pull over.  Free to use his hands properly for AR, he started weaving some code to ping the target system's specs.  He sent out a battery of update requests and got a quick response.

11d6.hits(5) → [3,4,4,5,5,1,5,3,3,6,1] = (4)
Argo Systems Firewall v4.32 up to date.  Scrapertech Analyze v7.61b.  It was a list that would have probably would have impressed most hackers, but Bee was taking down Japanese military systems when he was in his teens.

Limbering up a little, he started to throw some code at it, trying to get user level access to the concierge desk.
