"You ain't answered my question.  Are you a guy to talk to about business, or did you just want the snack so bad you'd pay well over rate?  Only reason we've got to question this soon-to-be-KIA, besides marring his fixer's rep, is if we're gonna go after this Ragley guy.  So, we should probably clear that point up before we get to work on him, yeah?  I'm all for running a corkscrew up this guy's thumb, but we should settle what kind of questions we're going to ask him before hand."

Silk kept her distance from the ghoul. This was the first time she came into contact with one, but of course she'd heard stories. The eating habit grossed her out a bit, but then, so did most meat-eaters; so all-in-all, she'd expected her first ghoul meeting to have slightly more violence and running involved in it.

"That was an impressive display you gave in the clinic. Never seen anyone use an elemental that way."
She prodded the unconscious body Hank had dropped on the floor with the tip of her boot.
"I'd offer this guy to you as dessert, but he's so full of 'ware you might break some teeth and end up with terrible indigestion, so seeing what CJ offers for the parts he can pull out might be more interesting for us.
But like Little Joe said, I'm not sure interrogation is still a requirement.
I'm not a vindictive person, mind you, but last night's surprise just wasn't very pleasant and I wanted to know what was going on. The answers you provided and seeing this man punished for it are sufficient, so there's no more reason to talk to him as far as I'm concerned.
Unless of course your organization is still interested in going after the politician... I happen to know a team that's currently unemployed and has a person in their possession who was very recently employed with said politician and -unlike with Carter- didn't have to hide their business together, so he might know things Carter didn't."

"I just convinced CJ to toss you another three grand each so you wouldn't complain once you ended up in the same room as me. I suspect he was trying to make sure your asses were clear of KE when he asked me how to guarantee a runner goes somewhere. I'm not hiring you or anything, dunno how you got that idea. You obviously all agreed to come here but you haven't agreed whether you're roughing up the Ex-Lonestar Lieutenant? I don't care if you ask him his Mum's maiden name, I'm just giving you a safe place to do it in.
Besides you came here to get that info too. Instead of me needing to recite his life story, got any specific questions?"

He Turns to Silk ater she speaks, cocks his head and sniffs the air, grimacing slightly. "You're the Face then."

He dropped the stripped arm and the floor swallows it up as if a liquid. "My organisation?", He laughs, "Lady, they just feed me. I'm a runner like you lot.
If you liked the water spirit you should have seen what I did in '71 with one Fire elemental, an ambitious cartel and half a country. Well, technically you can. It's the big crater on the south american mapsofts.

I think CJ is expecting you to interrogate him but it'll be up to him and he has bosses and they have bosses. You might get called to deal with the politician but I expect it's a ways off. CJ'll give you work though don't worry.

Oh and you're welcome, no one likes getting screwed over. Name's Chrona, what do you guys go by?"

She smiled automatically before she realized the ghoul couldn't see it.
"Silk. Pleasure to meet you. And that extra 3k sure buys CJ an interrogation. Don't get me wrong, I know he can probably use some info from this guy, but working for free... you know, don't want to create a precedent. He said you might be able to part with some drugs that could prove useful?"

"There's easier ways of keeping us out of sight than making us stick together.  None of us knows one another.  We could have evaporated into the night easy enough.  So, since he wants us together it's safe enough to assume this Ragley thing is happening then.  That's fair I guess.  You have wifi out here?  We should probably call CJ, see how long we wants us laying low."

Andromeda is relieved to be connected to her both Cars, now she feel complete again.
still she check the sensors just to be sure nothing much has changed in the surrounding where Habu is standing and that the Hyundai is still safe in the Big room upstairs.

On the sensors was nothing, at least nothing Andromeda would consider a threat, she had almost left Habus sensors, as she picked up a ganger approaching Habu. First she did not understand what he was doing, but when he stopped just short of the wall and started to open his trousers ....., Andromeda cut off the feed of that particular Camera.
You want to piss on me punk? i will show you how it's done correctly.
She turned the Searchlight at the Ganger and turned it on, now the place he thought had been unnoticeable,  was brightly lit, and his attempt to rlive himself on Habu where cut short of reaching it, but he could not stop the impulse he had already given, most of the bystanders could clearly see how a grown men makes his pants wet from the inside, and yellowish fluid drips on the ground. the last Andromeda heard was the man walking away from Habu cursing in a funny, funny way.
She returned back to this view with a grin, and a conclusion.
Note to self: Get some some way to make piss themselves without them trying to do it themselves, maybe a turret or some drones,

Alright, I'll let you guys take care of the talking part, gonna take this fella to the interrogation room.

As Hank move out to the secure room, he makes a quick stop by the lab, looking for gamma-scopolamine. Silk might be as persuasive as she want, a little external help can't harm..

Noise fought to keep both bile and her rifle down as the ghoul enjoyed his dinner.  Last time she ran into ghouls was a nasty affair and this one was bigger and more civilized than any of them.  The civilized part is what really threw her off.  It was worse then any trid horror show she could think of.  The coldness of it, the pure nonchalance of it.

Noise couldn't quite understand the others' reactions either. Andromeda; grinning What the fuck. Squirt; seemed a little annoyed. Hank; couldn't seem to care. Silk; at least she seemed to react a bit at first to the sight, but then she was smiling within seconds.  She gave Silk a small amount of credit... she definitely was the talker of the group, she could just be trying to play the game. Still Waters; she couldn't read his reaction, nor cared much at this point.

As Chrona made his way across the floor towards Silk, Noise continued to keep her back to the wall, ready to raise her weapon at the slightest provocation.

Walking slowly behind Chrona towards the fridge, Silk sent a message over the comms.
Comm: "What the hell's wrong with you people, this guy asked for your names and you're all keeping quiet? Am I the only one who remembers what he did to the Johnson, who saw that he can make blades and other things come out of the floor we're standing on or who noticed that he's strong enough to tear off body parts without effort? I don't care how you feel about ghouls, or doctors, I'd very much like you all to be polite and try to avoid becoming his next meal." Looking at Little Joe and Hank, she added "or snack" in thought.

Through the double glass windows of the fridge, she saw cases of the drugs she was looking for.
"Phew, nice. No wonder that stuff's hard to find, you've got the cities entire supply stashed here." she joked. "What's your price?"

"First ones free. Like I said, make it myself."

He opened the fridge door and the vacuum seal popped and the glass jangled. "Go ahead."

<<@Silk: Talking is your business.  Murder is mine.  He has no business for me, so I have no interest in him.>>

Joe started to walk after Hank. "Thanks big guy.  If you can think of any other reason we should speak, let me know."

<<@CJ: The delivery is currently waiting for your input.  At what time might we expect to hear from you regarding the final shipping arrangements?>>

Subvoc @team "Look I'm pretty sure this guy is used to people reacting strangely to him, I tried my best to act normally and normally I don't tell anything to ghouls, no matter how friendly they are"

Joe, got some rope on you ? Not that he'll run up but it always make good first impression when you wake him tied to a chair with a BFG in your face.Set up the mood nicely.

A memory flashed through her mind... Silk had hoped she'd lost it, but knew that would never happen.

Somewhere, an autumn in the early '20s.
Five young girls moved slowly through the hallways of their dormitory. It was almost an hour past their curfew, but The White Witch -the name the kids at boarding school gave Miss Jamesson- had just finished her round through their wing and wouldn't be back for at least another 2 hours.
Quietly whispering and giggling they sneaked through the hallways on their way to the southern exit. From there, it would only take a short sprint across the grass to the bushes and through the cover of those bushes they could easily make it to the back entrance of the swimming pool building, which had been jammed from locked by... what was her name again, Stephany?.. this morning during swim class.
The girls didn't have much trouble finding their way through the unlit hallways or the dark garden; Catty -short for Catherine- and her elven eyes had no trouble leading the way in the moonlight. She was at the rear of the group, confident she could get back to her room without being caught if they ran into one of the wardens.
They reached their destination without trouble and waited, the boys from the dormitories on the other side of the grounds wouldn't be much longer.
The girls heard them coming before they saw them, an "ouch" coming from behind the bushes, followed by another voice with the same "ouch" and a couple of swearwords. A few seconds later the boys emerged, two of them slightly limping from hitting their leg against a statuette.
The girls giggled when their 'dates' entered the building.
"What took you boys? We got here long before you.", she said in her most mocking voice. She practiced it a lot.
"Oh, I bet they were just afraid in the dark.", Merissa laughed.
"And we did it without getting hurt, too", Josy -Josephine- added.
"Bah! We don't have a pointy-ear to guide us!". Henry's ego obviously hurt more than his shin.
"Yeah, we got here ourselves, without needing a stupid Dandelion Eater!" Johnathan -Henry's faithful lackey- spat, happy to get a chance to use a word he overheard his father use last weekend.
Catty was furious. "You take that back!", she shouted.
"Or what? You're gonna make me?"
She ran towards him and aimed a kick at his already hurt shin. "Yeah, you stupid..."
It just happened, a simple accident, could happen to anyone anywhere anytime. Johnathan defended himself by pushing her away, Catty fell backward, hit her head on the side of the pool and landed in the water. Her soaked heavy clothes dragged her unconscious body down.
"Shit, I didn't mean to... where is she?!"
A couple of bubbles floated up, the body stayed down in the darkness of the water, she saw a dark black cloud forming around the body. "I think she's bleeding."
They all panicked and ran back into the night. None of the girls noticed that she was in the lead now and didn't seem to have any problem moving in the darkness either; she didn't think anything about it herself.
No one talked, not then, not ever. School was suspended for that week, the children sent home because an Elf girl at her school had snuck out by herself at night and had tripped and drowned.
Later at home, all her father had to say about the accident at her school was "Just goes to prove that those things can only see that good in the dark to prowl around at night, who knows what secrets those lurking freaks are hiding. Good riddance. Let it be a lesson, baby girl: never trust those pointy-eared devils!"
That night as she lay quietly crying in bed, she heard her father beating her mother and shouting that she should have told him that his little angel had been put in a class with one of those mutant freaks.

She knew where prejudice could lead.

Comm: "You know, there was a moment in history when most people probably thought just the same about dwarfs. Freaks of nature, better to have never been born. Can't trust those things. Small, strong and eyes that can see body warmth, so they can stalk you at night, the Devil's little imps."
