<<@Silk: What makes you think they were wrong?>>

Joe pulled out a handful of zip ties and handed them to Hank.
"An ex-Lonestar Lieutenant in the employ of Humanis Policlubbers isn't going to expect any mercy if he sees metahumans are in charge of his interrogation.  If he thinks there are only humans questioning him, he might give us more information.  So, when you wake him, Hank, stay out of his field of view.  I'll be upstairs by the car."
With that, Joe started back down the hallway to the outside.

@Silk "Silk, please, huge difference between a Dwarf, an Elf even an Ork and a Ghoul, first off, a ghoul is a diseased person. HMHVV is no fun and so far after initial infection there isn't much to do. And it's spreading like hell. Do you know how powerful this virus is ? It's not Chrona's fault I agree, but still so many ghoul's mind are warped and twisted I'd rather use precaution... That not prejudice, that is science."

Hank takes the zip ties from Joe and start strapping the mercenary leader to a chair or anything that is remotely similar.

"Good point about this... so that mean Noise and Andromeda will do the talking I guess"

Mumbling under her breath and her face cold stone, Silk took a glass vial from the fridge and filled a syringe with the clear liquid. She held the point up and squeezed the plunger lightly until a small drop appeared at the tip of the short needle.
""A rapidly spreading disease for which there is no cure but extermination." I'm pretty sure those are the exact words Humanis use for all metahumans... Warped and twisted minds come in all colors and shapes and in a lot of different packages. Ideas are more infectious than any virus, often more harmful too. The saddest part is that those affected by it often don't even realize it themselves and keep spreading it."
Without any ceremony, she jabbed it into the merc's neck as if it were a knife and emptied the syringe.

She regained herself.
"This will take a while to work... can you do anything to counter the paralysis and the slab?" Maybe the freak that's helping us has something you could use, if you could get over your fear.

He took out a brick of a 'link from his pocket and touch typed some numbers. "Call it street value for any more doses, 200 nuyen a shot."

"Can't say I know myself anything that might help, I'm just good at making it."

"Lets drag him to that room I mentioned."

The room looks like an "interview" room from an old cop flat trid, even with a magic mirror for onlookers and some comm controls.

Joe listened over the comm to Silk's discussion on the hazards of prejudice, wondering if the young woman was truly serious.  Hadn't she just killed at least two men in the interest of kidnapping a third to be sold to body-harvesters?  Now she wants to talk ethics?

<<@Silk: The guy you're defending just copped to committing a genocide of millions.  Multiple millions.  There is another reason why our employer would want us all together still.  If you think about it, I'm sure it will come to you.  Chrona's got all your astral signatures filed away in his head now.  He is the one who holds your leash should you disobey or prove disloyal.  So, when you defend him, know that you are defending your executioner.  In the mean time, since you and he are such close friends now, could you ask him to look at the collected links for us?  Creepy Joe said he could help us with that.  Perhaps it was just a lie to get us to come here, but I would like to find out more about the players in that mess.  Additionally, getting the name and next of kin for the ex-Lonestar cop in charge of that kill squad would also be appreciated.  I could save a good number of lives with that information.  Once the rest of those swarming, idiot, pig, rejects from LS see what I did to that man's family, they'll think twice before repeating his mistakes.

Wait a tick...  That guy was LS?  And he was working for Humanis, whose top-goon, Brackhaven just killed the LS contract?  Seems like he was working for the same folks who gave away his damn job!  You might want to work that angle...>>

PM @LJ: "I'm not defending anyone, unless perhaps everyone whose character is judged on basis of fear, misunderstanding and generalization.
As to Chrona, you're absolutely right. He's obviously powerful and has a lot of resources. Of course he has our signatures, but he could have gotten them through projecting to the clinic too, so that's no reason for us to gather. What is a possible reason is that we're all pretty deep underground and communicating through nodes under his direct control and we've got no one protecting this channel, so it would be childsplay for him to tune in.
Now what I was defending was the idea that maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to piss him off and instead try and be polite so he doesn't become our executioner and might even become a very powerful ally. That happens to be my job, but for some reason people seem to sabotage it every chance they get instead of taking some good advice."

Was she really the only one who realised that treating people as if they were hostile, tended to make them hostile?

"For what it's worth Silk, I'm not monitoring comms. You don't need to whisper. Any Ideas from your medic? "

He leant against the wall opposite the door into the interrogation room. Behind his tusks he was still smiling amicably.

Hank takes a look around the lab, he mixes a few chemicals with Chrona's help but all h's able to do is make sure the slab will be over once the Truth Serum kicks in, you've an hour to kill.

"Feel free to take a look around, rest or get a tune up in the cyberlab. It's only me and a my Sister here at the moment. She's pretty big and hairy so don't freak out when you see her."

Hank wanders a bit trying to find something to do. Seeing that he's most likely to wait for an hour he makes a couple push-ups and start working out his endurance. He lays down on the floor and hold his feet at about six inches straight from the group in a painful endurance test. You can see him timing his performance taking notes on his commlink for further analysis.

Hank quickly step on his feet. Training room ? Now you get me interested. Hank quickly follow Chrona to the room, as they get a bit further he lowers his voice "Don't know about sparring though, you know a simple contact might be dangerous and to be perfectly honest, let's say that it does not figure in my future plans, except you know if you have ... protection" Hank tried to sound as empathetic as possible to not make the giant Ghoul angry.

"You'll be fine without bodily fluids mixing, I've been a Ghoul almost my whole life, never infected anyone I didn't kill after for work or food. I'll wear a second skin and gloves to make sure though, deal?"

The room had a boxing ring, floor mats for martial arts and various training versions of melee weapons. He slips into a full body skin in a changing room and returns with his coat still on. "Bleh, clammy."
In the ring he forms a ready pose, more like an untrained brawler than any discipline. "You know any fighting styles? I've only ever learnt "Beat them shitless" and "Claw Fu" Heh, go ahead and start."

This is just for fun, no initiative just you then him, etc. you both have 3 passes. We'll do "Sparring Damage", Use your stun track, a full track is a loss but it wont count as real damage.

Yea it's fine, I'm sure it will be ok. I'm kinda good at Boxing, not much you know been training for a couple of years.

As he said that he quickly get up on the ring tapping into his inner strength to increase his agility. Seeing that it didn't exactly worked, he put his gloves on and got ready for a rough time.

Quote
Magic 6 + Increase Agility 2 (8d6.hits(5)=0) oh wow 0 hit (at least no glitch)

Hank quickly ground himself, gloves up high. He might not have the height advantage here but his was confident.

Quote
Unarmed Combat 5 + Boxing 2 + Improved Skill Unarmed Combat 2 + Agility 4 (13d6.hits(5)=4) So that is 4 hits @DV8 (I assume I don't have my Foci on)

He just manages to move to his left as your arm goes past him, "Only Kinda good you say?"

He's bringing his arm down to wrap around yours, in a subdue attack.
